Chapter Twenty-Six will make you cry your eyes out in this palace.

"Thank you for your trouble, Second Sister." Qian Yuexue bowed obediently, nervously watching her Second Sister help her Eldest Sister behind the screen. She nervously clutched the silk handkerchief in her hand, trying hard to control her excitement.

Once behind the screen, Qian Yingxue could no longer maintain her facade. Angrily, she tore off her veil and glared fiercely at her second sister.

Looking at her sister who was more trouble than she was worth, Qian Muxue really wanted to slap her twice. She tried her best to control her emotions and ordered in a low voice, "Take off all your clothes now."

"I...no..." Qian Yingxue tried to say something in protest, but Qian Muxue covered her mouth directly.

Qian Muxue was usually willful and capricious, and she was still somewhat afraid of this second older sister. With tears in her eyes, she reluctantly took off her gauze dress.

Qian Muxue came out from behind the screen with a gauze dress in her hand, urging Qian Yuexue to change quickly so as not to be late.

Qian Yuexue was so excited that her hands were trembling. Fortunately, Qian Muxue helped her, and she hurriedly changed into the gauze dress. At this moment, Qing'er's urging voice came from outside.

Seeing Qian Yuexue rushing out, Qian Muxue hurriedly ran behind the screen, picked up the silk scarf on the ground, and ran out again: "Wait, put on the veil, and take it off after the performance. This way, you can give those princes some mystery and leave a good impression on them. I've given you the opportunity, so if you don't seize it, you can't blame anyone else."

Qian Yuexue was surprised that her second sister would help her so much. Her eyes welled up with tears. She put on the silk scarf and bowed to Qian Muxue repeatedly before being pushed out of the room.

"Hurry up, everyone's waiting upstairs." Qing'er, thinking it was the young lady of the Qian family, didn't give her a friendly look and led her to the front desk.

After everyone left, Qian Muxue let out a heavy sigh, while Qian Yingxue, behind the screen, burst into tears of grievance.

“If you cry, you’ll cry yourself to death in this palace if you go on stage! When will you stop worrying your sister so much?” Qian Muxue pulled Qian Yingxue up from behind the screen, exasperated.

Qian Yingxue wiped away her tears in a daze, looking at her second sister with great confusion.

"Do you really think your mother is that stupid, willing to give such an expensive set of jewelry to that ugly freak?" Qian Muxue coldly threw out a sentence and strode out of the house.

Qian Yingxue paused for a moment, pondered her second sister's words carefully, and then suddenly realized what she had said. She covered her mouth and hurriedly followed her second sister out of the house.

In the next room, Qian Youxue overheard their conversation. She had originally intended to teach Qian Yingxue a lesson, but unexpectedly, Qian Yuexue took the blame for her, which was a real bargain for that little slut.

Well, Qian Yuexue and Qian Yingxue have bullied the original owner quite a bit in the past, so let's just consider it interest. Anyway, they're in cahoots.

After waiting for a while and confirming that the two sisters had really left the courtyard, she hid inside the door and watched for a long time. When she didn't see any servants enter the courtyard, she slowly came out of the house.

She definitely couldn't go back the way she came; it wouldn't do anyone any good to be exposed backstage. So, she simply went out through the side door, thinking she'd take a detour back to the other courtyard to avoid causing any more trouble.

The palace had so many courtyards, one after another, and given that the person had a terrible sense of direction, they wandered around and eventually found themselves lost. They simply sat down to rest at the entrance of one of the courtyards.
