Chapter 47: Man in the Mirror 2

"Click." The door lock was opened from the outside.

"Please come in." After turning on the light, Wen Ruiqing stood at the door, looked behind him, and stepped aside.

Behind him, a woman with chest-length wavy brown hair, holding her coat in one hand, pursed her red lips and smiled at Wen Ruiqing.

She has narrow eyes, long and thick eyelashes, a small nose and mouth, and her skin is fair, tender and smooth.

Her eyebrows are gentle and her face is delicate.

But it also has a seductive temperament.

She walked past Wen Ruiqing and strolled into the house, looking around casually, taking in the entire scene in the room.

The one-bedroom, two-living-room house is spacious and tidy. The overall decoration is in black and white, simple and elegant.

There was no clutter in the room, the floor was as clean as new, and even on top of the furniture, where cleaning was difficult, there was not a speck of dust.

There is also a vase on the coffee table, with a few fresh jasmine flowers in it.

It seems that this man is diligent in housekeeping and somewhat romantic. If he were not a part-time worker, he might even be a bit of a mysophobe.

"Your room is very clean and tidy." The brown curly-haired woman rolled her eyes and smiled, covering her mouth. "I thought single men would be more casual."

Wen Ruiqing smiled, his peach blossom eyes rippling with light, and the light from above cast tiny golden rays in his eyes.

The woman was dazzled by the pair of sparkling eyes.

"Sit anywhere." Wen Ruiqing pointed at the sofa.

The woman came back to her senses, curled the corners of her rosy lips, walked gracefully to the sofa in her high heels, and sat down.

"What would you like to drink?" Wen Ruiqing stood behind her, supporting himself with his hands on the back of the sofa between them, leaned down, and asked softly in her ear.

A faint breath brushed against my ears.

"A glass of water will be fine, thank you."

"We are old friends, so there is no need to say thank you." Wen Ruiqing said, and he tidied up the messy hair beside the woman's cheek behind her ear, and gently brushed her earlobe with his fingertips.

It seems that I just encountered it accidentally.

The woman tilted her head slightly to look at Wen Ruiqing, her narrow eyes slightly curved, the corners of her lips raised, revealing a soft and charming smile.

Wen Ruiqing was washing cups in the kitchen while the woman was sitting on the sofa, looking around.

Just now, the host was in front of her, and it was impolite to look around the room directly. Now that she was no longer in Wen Ruiqing's sight, she could naturally observe carefully.

She still had a hint of curiosity about Wen Ruiqing.

The woman casually placed her coat and shoulder bag on the sofa, stood up, walked to the window and opened the curtains.

“Crash…”

Outside the window, the night sky is filled with stars, twinkling lights, winding traffic, and the brightest stars in the distant sky are shining.

This scene naturally has a sense of leisure.

The woman's blurry figure was vaguely reflected in the glass.

She looked at the night scene with some comfort.

A figure was vaguely reflected on the glass.

She is tall and graceful, and remains silent.

The woman recognized it; it was Wen Ruiqing's shadow.

"You've chosen a good place."

"From this angle, the night view is beautiful. The lights are not too bright and prosperous, but not too lonely and desolate..."

She sighed.

The person whose blurry shadow was reflected in the glass just looked at her, motionless and without answering.

"Hey, why are you..."

The woman turned her head as she spoke, and her voice suddenly stopped.

There was no one behind him.

The woman suddenly turned her head towards the glass window, and her outline was vaguely reflected in the glass, with her wide-open eyes and mouth open in surprise.

But at this moment, there was no one else on the glass except her shadow.

It was as if the other figure she had just seen was just a momentary dazzle.

The sound of running water came from the kitchen.

Wen Ruiqing was still washing cups and had not come out.

So, who was that shadow on the glass just now?

The woman didn't think she was dazzled.

She recalled that she had only taken a quick glance just now and had assumed that the person cast the shadow was standing behind her.

Now when I think back carefully, some details come to mind.

The shadow in the glass appears entirely on the glass without being obstructed.

At that angle and position, if he was standing behind the woman, his legs or half of his body would be blocked by the woman's shadow.

In short, there will be no place that is not blocked.

However, his figure was indeed complete, reflected on the glass...

It was like, standing in front of her.

Or, stand in a glass that reflects the view.

Thinking of this, the woman couldn't help but look at the glass in front of her and took a few steps back.

"Wen Ruiqing..." she shouted.

There was a hint of panic in his tone.

"Huh? What's wrong?" Wen Ruiqing walked out of the kitchen holding two glasses of water.

"You here..." The woman hesitated for a moment, as if thinking about what words to use.

"Is there anything wrong with the usual?"

Wen Ruiqing placed two glasses of water on the coffee table in front of the sofa and walked towards the woman.

"What's wrong?"

"...I just saw your shadow in this glass." The woman said slowly, looking at Wen Ruiqing carefully, not missing any subtle expression on his face.

"My shadow?" Wen Ruiqing didn't understand and was a little confused, frowning slightly.

He turned his head and looked at the glass.

His outline was vaguely reflected in the glass.

He has a tall figure and a handsome face.

He is well-mannered and has a gentle temperament.

He stood sideways, tilted his head to look at the glass, and the figure in the glass also tilted his head to look at him.

Suddenly, the figure in the mirror turned around, the front of the body appeared in the glass, and looked straight at him.

Wen Ruiqing was stunned at first, then he was shocked and couldn't help but take two steps back.

The figure in the mirror didn't move at all, still facing him and looking at him.

The woman also saw her reflection in the mirror.

"Yes, that's it..."

She affirmed.

"Wen Ruiqing, I'm so scared..." the woman said, and ran towards Wen Ruiqing in two steps and threw herself into his arms.

The thin high heels made a crisp sound on the floor.

Wen Ruiqing was distracted by her rushing towards him. When he came to his senses, he looked through the glass.

His frightened face was reflected on the glass.

No longer standing there, looking at him expressionlessly.

Wen Ruiqing breathed a sigh of relief.

"Can you please close the curtains?" the woman looked up at him and asked.

Wen Ruiqing's fingers stiffened and his eyes became deep.

There was silence.

"Okay." He said, with a strange smile on his face.

That smile only pulled the nerves in the lower half of his face.

He looked at the woman with a strange look.

"Since you are scared, I will go and close the curtains." Wen Ruiqing stroked the woman's head with his fingers.

The movements were gentle, as if one was caressing some rare treasure.

The woman suddenly shuddered for no apparent reason, her entire body felt cold, her hair stood on end, and she almost couldn't keep her body in shape.

Fortunately, Wen Ruiqing stopped.

He lowered his eyes, not looking at the glass, and it was obvious that he was a little afraid.

According to the position I remembered, I walked to the curtain.

“Crash…”

The curtains were drawn closed.

The glass is blocked.

"I'll make breakfast for you." Wen Ruiqing hugged the woman's waist, kissed her fair cheek, and asked, "What do you want to eat?"

"Just do what you are good at..." The woman looked at him with a smile, looking very satisfied.

"good."

"I'll go wash up~" The woman winked at him, turned and walked into the bathroom.

Wen Ruiqing looked at her enchanting back, slowly opened his eyes, and stretched the corners of his mouth towards his ears.

It seems like a smile, but it is not a smile.

Like a frog staring at its prey.

“Crash…”

The woman turned on the faucet, held the water in both hands, and lowered her head to wash her face.

The cool water splashes on your face, making you feel refreshed and comfortable.

The hair pinned behind her ear fell down, and she raised her head to fix it.

Yu Guangzhong saw Wen Ruiqing standing next to him in the mirror in front of him.

The woman fixed her hair to prevent it from falling and getting wet, then lowered her head to wash her face.

"Why are you here? Weren't you going to make breakfast for me? Why are you here so soon..." As she spoke, the woman's voice gradually became lower.

Until it stops.

She sensed something was wrong.

He paused and let the cool water wash over his palms.

Suddenly looked up.

Wen Ruiqing in the mirror stood straight, looking at her expressionlessly.

A pair of peach blossom eyes are clear and sharp, shining brightly, like a sharp knife, the mere light of the knife can hurt people's eyes.

There was a look of indifference and alienation between his brows.

The whole body seemed to be wrapped in flames and burning.

Although this appearance is exactly the same as Wen Ruiqing before, it is far from his original appearance with sparkling eyes and full of romance.

The most important thing is...what is reflected in the mirror is only him, not the woman's figure.

The woman was startled and took a step back.

But he looked Wen Ruiqing in the mirror carefully from head to toe.

His eyes roamed over his face inch by inch.

Wen Ruiqing in the mirror was still looking at her expressionlessly. He stretched out his hand, and his palm seemed to touch the mirror, covering his face.

Cover your face.

The figure slowly faded from the mirror and disappeared.

The woman's figure was reflected and appeared in the mirror.

The mirror returned to normal.

The woman licked the corner of her mouth, a smile appearing in her eyes.

She suddenly took a deep breath.

"ah!!!"

Let out a sharp scream.

In the kitchen, Wen Ruiqing paused and turned off the fire.

Strange woman.

Luo Zheyu appeared in the gray world inside the mirror with a slightly frown on his face.

She didn't seem scared at all.

But obviously, she has been targeted by Wen Ruiqing.

If she hadn't left Wen Ruiqing...

Luo Zheyu raised his eyes and looked at the boundless world inside the mirror filled with gray fog.

Malice is not easy to find.

Although they never move, their locations are not fixed.

Luo Zheyu's current strength is not enough to sense the malice in the world inside the mirror. He can only rely on his eyes to search one by one.

We have to speed up.

I hope to accumulate enough strength before Wen Ruiqing takes any action.

Currently, apart from appearing in the mirror, he cannot influence the outside world and cannot get out.
