Chapter 006 Collector

Chapter 006 Collector

Hearing He Miao's words, Fu Xuan's brows twitched slightly; Ji Weihang's expression remained calm.

Neither of them expressed any opinion.

They are here to kill Gui, not to teach him a lesson on morality.

For some reason, seeing their attitude, He Miao's mood improved significantly.

She took a step closer to Fu Xuan and said to Ji Weihang, "You go in front and we go behind. This way it will be safer."

"Note that although she cannot directly hurt people without violating the rules, she can use some indirect means, such as controlling the collection to attack."

Ji Weihang said yes, asked Fu Xuan to stay with He Miao, and strode into the courtyard.

The moment she stepped into the yard, the sculptures suddenly moved.

She seemed to have stepped into a chess game with the ground as the chessboard and the sculptures and herself as the chess pieces.

The sculptures' distorted and painful expressions did not change, but their bodies began to move.

The two sculptures in the front jumped up with a bang, leaped into the air, raised the stone swords in their hands, and chopped down heavily at her from the left and right.

She could hear the whistling of the wind.

She raised the dagger in her hand and swung it.

The black blade light condensed with sword intent and dark power flashed sharply and silently pierced through the two sculptures holding long swords high in the air.

A crack running across the chest and abdomen appeared on both sculptures at the same time, and then spread out like a spider web.

The sculpture shattered into dozens of pieces and fell to the ground with a clatter.

Synchronous, at the same time.

At the same time, the two sculptures at the back were already in sight.

The spear pierced through the air, and the sharp tip of the spear reflected the sunlight, which was a bit dazzling.

She used her knife to deflect the spear on the left, and with a slid, she got close to the sculpture from below. With a flash of sharp knife light, the sculpture was shattered into pieces.

The sculpture on the right had not yet reacted and she used it as a stepping stone, grabbing it and stepping on it to jump into the air, avoiding the hammers from the last two sculptures.

Two energy-dispersing talismans quickly formed under his hands and hit them.

Having lost the dark energy, the lifeless sculpture suddenly became motionless, and the sledgehammer that was about to be raised slammed back to the ground with a bang.

The spear-wielding sculpture raised its spear to stab, but she dodged by turning her body, grabbed the tip of the spear, swung it in the air, and kicked the sculpture on the head.

The sculpture's head flew out, and she flipped lightly onto the spear, then jumped along the spear to the sculpture's neck, and the sculpture immediately shattered to the ground.

The yard was silent.

All six sculptures lost their ability to fight.

She strode towards the entrance of the villa and chopped down two immobile hammer sculptures as she passed by them.

Fu Xuan and He Miao behind them looked at each other.

He Miao muttered, "That's pretty impressive."

Fu Xuan: "Of course."

They followed her.

Just as she was about to step onto the steps in front of the door, the door of the villa opened automatically.

As if welcoming them.

Ji Weihang stepped over the threshold and entered the collector's mansion.

The luxuriously decorated house was hung with magnificent chandeliers and portraits of people were hung on both sides of the walls. The expressions of the people in the portraits were exactly the same as those in the previous sculptures: painful and distorted.

The dark energy in the house was the strongest she had ever felt since she entered this world.

There is a handrail staircase on the right side of the house that spirals upward.

A man in white, who looked to be in his twenties, leaned against the railing on the second floor, looking down coldly.

"Are you the collector?" Ji Weihang could clearly feel the dark power from the other party.

Much stronger than He Miao, but far inferior to He Yi. He is probably equivalent to a Yuanying stage ghost cultivator.

The collector was the most misanthropic type, and even though Weihang smashed her sculpture, she didn't take Weihang seriously.

Her only target is the equally mysterious He Miao.

Therefore, she deliberately ignored Ji Weihang and looked directly at He Miao who had just stepped into the house.

"Lord He brought two humans to my house and smashed my collections. Does he want to start a war?" she asked.

Ji Weihang didn't care about her neglect, but observed the other person carefully.

——The Collector’s hair is short in front and long in the back. The ends of his black hair are bright red. Although he has a gloomy temperament, there are inconspicuous cute animal patterns on the corners of his white clothes.

A very contradictory ghost, Ji Weihang thought, long and short, black and red, gloomy but also likes cute patterns...

Even after entering the house, He Miao, who was still hiding under the umbrella, heard the Collector's voice, tilted the umbrella back and put it on his shoulders, raised his head and chest, and said proudly, "So what?"

She glanced at Wei Hang who was staring at the collector in a trance and urged him, "Stop staring, Wei Hang, it's your turn."

"Oh? Do you trust this human so much? Did they send you, a guy who can't fight, to start a war because they trust this human?"

The collector's figure flashed, and he was about to cross Ji Weihang to catch the seedlings.

Eating He Miao, He Yi's clone, would be of great benefit to her.

A black knife flashed.

Even though the Collector noticed it in time and pulled her hand back, she still couldn't avoid it completely. Her right hand fell to the ground and turned into black smoke and dissipated.

Ji Weihang shook off the dirty liquid remaining on the knife and said, "I thought Yougui had no blood."

The strange body is composed of dark energy, obsession and residual will. Flowing in the body is liquid dark energy and obsession that is deep in the bones.

The Collector's arm instantly grew back. She shook the newly grown hand and looked coldly at Ji Weihang, the human standing in her way. "I didn't cause any trouble for you, but you are eager to die."

Ji Weihang smiled. She hadn't heard such words for many years. It felt like she had gone back to fifty-two years ago. "It's still unclear who is seeking death."

While they were confronting each other, He Miao quietly tilted the umbrella so that it leaned towards the man and the ghost, and moved towards Fu Xuan, allowing Fu Xuan to stand behind the umbrella as well.

Under Fu Xuan's puzzled gaze, she injected energy into the umbrella and activated it.

A holy and blazing white light emanated from the umbrella, instantly illuminating the space in front of them.

"Is this an attack?" Fu Xuan could feel the power of the white light through the umbrella. She grabbed He Miao's hand anxiously and said, "Why didn't you tell me in advance? What if my sister gets caught in the light?"

He Miao said confidently, "This is only effective against ghosts, humans will be fine." He also took credit for it, "I was afraid that you would be blinded, so I dragged you in. Isn't that thoughtful?"

"What about my sister? Won't she be blinded by the light?" Fu Xuan was speechless and helpless, and said hurriedly, "Put it away quickly!"

"She is such a strong person, how could she be blinded? She must have dodged it immediately." Muttering to herself, He Miao finally retracted the white light and looked out from under the umbrella with Fu Xuan.

Ji Weihang and the collector are both gone.

The portraits on both sides also disappeared.

"Where is she?" Fu Xuan said with gritted teeth, "You didn't take the photo of my sister and she died, did you?"

Although she knew her sister wouldn't die so easily, she couldn't tolerate her sister's sudden disappearance for even a moment. And considering her sister's half-guixiu physical condition, she didn't know if she could be illuminated by this light.

"How is that possible? The light wasn't even that strong." He Miao looked around curiously, "Where's the collector? She wouldn't be dead."

"Is this the legendary Soul-Destroying Umbrella?" A sticky, flowing black shadow appeared beside the second-floor handrail and gradually solidified into the appearance of a collector.

She looked much more lively and sunny than before, as if she had changed a trick, and smiled, "Thank you for giving me such a good gift."

"You wish." He Miao said loudly. She tightly gripped the umbrella handle and became a little nervous.

Where is Wei Hang? Should we activate the emergency plan?

The Collector was about to say something when he looked down.

Ji Weihang walked out from under the stairs. After the light appeared and the collectors retreated temporarily, she hid in the corner under the stairs.

The large burn scars on his body healed quickly under the influence of the dark power. Ji Weihang said, "Can you tell your companions before you use this kind of thing next time?"

Even she felt a little helpless.

Seeing Wei Hang reappear, He Miao breathed a sigh of relief. Seeing that Wei Hang's wounds were the same as Yougui's injuries from the light, He Miao felt a little strange and guilty. "I thought you were a human and nothing would happen... Sorry."

"...It's okay." Ji Weihang was a little surprised that He Miao would apologize.

She returned her attention to the Collector above.

"You guys go out and wait. Staying here will affect my performance."

"Okay." This was exactly what He Miao wanted. She pulled Fu Xuan out of the door without hesitation.

Fu Xuan didn't want to distract Wei Hang, so he didn't say much and just threw the knife over.

She noticed that the black light was gone from the knife in Weihang's hand, probably because of the white light before.

Ji Weihang had sharp senses and she caught the knife without Fu Xuan's reminder. Looking at the knife in her hand, she felt a little emotional.

Xiaoxuan has really grown up and can make his own observations and choices without being reminded.

She did not take the initiative to ask Fu Xuan for a knife because she felt it was not safe for Fu Xuan and He Miao to be alone together.

But she would not reject Fu Xuan's concern for her.

The collector did not stop He Miao from going out. Her attention was now shifted to Ji Weihang.

"You are obviously a human, but you are similar to Yougui? How did you do that?" There was a bit of innocent curiosity on her face.

"That's it." Wei Hang said perfunctorily. Meeting the Collector's gaze, she seemed to have realized something and asked, "What are you? A second soul?"

"Guess." The collector smiled and said solemnly, "You have the potential to become my most beautiful work."

The knife in Ji Weihang's hand ignited with black netherworld flames.

"Unfortunately, you are far from qualified to be my best work."

The collector's figure flashed and instantly appeared behind Ji Weihang.

She reached out to grab Wei Hang's neck, but Wei Hang's figure disappeared in an instant like a phantom.

At the same time, a circle of runes lit up beneath the Collector's feet.

Two-meter-high red and black flames rose into the air, forming a scorching fire cage that separated her from the outside world.

She squatted down curiously and touched the runes on the ground, not caring about her body being burned by the flames.

The skin became charred in the flames, and turbid and sticky black liquid oozed out and flowed down the arms.

The moment the black liquid fell into the fire, the flames suddenly grew larger.

"Interesting." The collector said thoughtfully, "It's a bit like the talismans drawn by those strange people in the early years. But it's better than theirs."

Having satisfied her curiosity, she walked out of the fire cage under the flames.

His whole body was covered with burns and his face could not be seen clearly. He looked like a pool of walking black liquid, turbid and sticky.

She looked at the dozens of Weihangs surrounding her, and with her quickly healed arm she pulled out a dark long sword from her chest and abdomen.

"This is my favorite of my collection, the Styx Sword," the collector said. "I will use it to take your life."

She raised her sword and slashed lightly. Dozens of phantom Wei Hangs immediately dissipated under the sword force, turning into wisps of misty black smoke that filled the entire room.

There seemed to be something special about the black smoke. Even those who were used to the gloomy darkness could not see the direction clearly.

The Collector took her time and was about to swing her sword when something suddenly attached itself to her body and merged into her body.

Her mind was suddenly flooded with memories of "Ji Weihang". She was surprised and curious for a moment and could not help but stop.
