Wen Li went to Professor Mu's house early in the morning.
Miao Miao still lives in Professor Mu's staff family dormitory. Because of Miao Miao's return, the estrangement between the family members has dissipated considerably.
During this time, they also reflected on their own actions and realized that they should not place all the blame on Professor Mu.
Because of the changes in his son and daughter-in-law, Professor Mu's perpetually furrowed brows finally relaxed. Although he is serious in class now, he occasionally cracks a joke or two, and the students feel that attending Professor Mu's class is much more relaxed.
As soon as Wen Li arrived, Miao Miao's parents served her tea and water, seemingly wanting to ask something but unsure whether they should, their eyes filled with urgency.
"Miao Miao's soul has been found. The method for the soul to return is very simple. Just wait for Miao Miao to fall asleep and call out his full name to him without stopping. The soul will return to his body in about three minutes."
Miao Miao's mother's eyes lit up, and she asked excitedly, "Really?"
"real."
Wen Li understood the feelings of parents who couldn't bear the slightest mishap to their child, so she patiently explained, "The reason we have to wait until night is because Miao Miao's soul is too weak. During the day, the yang energy is too strong, and if there is any mishap, Miao Miao's soul will not be able to return."
Upon hearing this, Miao Miao's parents were shocked and dared not ask any further questions: "Master Wen, you know more about this than we do. Whatever you say is true."
Wen Li glanced at Miao Miao and pinched the little one's chubby cheeks.
Although he looks a bit dazed, thankfully he can still eat, and the little guy is visibly getting rounder.
Just then, Miao Miao's big, round eyes suddenly looked at Wen Li, and then she slowly opened her arms, her meaning couldn't be clearer.
Mu Shuxin laughed: "Does Miaomiao want you to hold her?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Miao Miao pounced on Wen Li, her little face resting on Wen Li's shoulder. She looked so quiet and gentle that even Wen Li's heart softened a little.
Even into the night, Miao Miao seemed to cling to Wen Li, moving slowly like a little koala, but she wouldn't let go of Wen Li like a tree. If Wen Li hadn't been strong, most people wouldn't have been able to resist her.
After finally coaxing Miaomiao to sleep, she still clung tightly to Wenli's clothes. Wenli had no choice but to hold Miaomiao and finish setting up the altar before taking out the gourd containing Miaomiao's soul.
This gourd is Su Wanwan's magic weapon. When Miaomiao was found last night, her soul was almost dissipated, but now, in less than a day, Miaomiao's soul has become much more solid.
After Miao Miao's soul was released, the soul Miao Miao blinked at him and reached out to Wen Li to hug him.
Wen Li: "..."
Seeing Wen Li's strange expression, Miao Miao's mother's heart skipped a beat: "Master Wen, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing, it's just Miao Miao's spirit being affectionate with me." Wen Li pinched Miao Miao's little face and said to Miao Miao's parents, "Call Miao Miao's name."
So Miao Miao's parents quickly started calling Miao Miao's name.
Wen Li then realized that Miao Miao was indeed called Miao Miao, or tree seedling.
Mu Miaomiao's soul seemed to hear someone calling her. She tilted her head in confusion and looked at the two people in front of her. After a long while, the soul Mu Miaomiao reached out again for Wen Li to hug her.
Wen Li laughed, only then remembering that Mu Miaomiao had gone missing at the age of three. At three years old, how could he have any memory of his parents? To him, the parents in front of him now were complete strangers.
"Miaomiao, didn't you want me to hug you? You're a spirit now, so I can't hug you. Only when you return to your body can I play with you in the future."
Mu Miaomiao looked at Wen Li holding "Mu Miaomiao" with a hint of jealousy in his eyes, but his little head felt that everything was strange. However, in order to let the pretty young lady hold him, Mu Miaomiao returned to his own body.
"You're back." As soon as Wen Li spoke, Miao Miao's parents ran over.
At the same time, Mu Miaomiao, who had been asleep, opened her eyes. Instead of looking at the Mu family, she blinked her big, watery eyes and said in a childish voice, "Give me a hug."
That night, in order to comfort Miao Miao who had just regained consciousness, Wen Li had no choice but to stay at the Mu family's house.
Miao Miao's parents were both happy and heartbroken, but when they thought about Wen Li's extraordinary qualities, they felt that it was okay for their son to be attached to Wen Li, and the next day Miao Miao was already able to recognize his father and mother.
Miao Miao's parents wept with joy, knowing that this was all thanks to Wen Li's teaching all night.
After leaving Professor Mu's staff family home, he went directly back to his dormitory.
It was the weekend, but as Wen Li walked into the school, she noticed that many students were heading to the library.
Wen Li had been there a few times before, but there were never any seats available because she arrived too late.
Lost in thought, Wen Li took the elevator back to her dormitory. Before she even opened the door, she heard arguing inside.
Wen Li pushed open the door and saw Tian Yuzhi sitting on a stool with red eyes. Tong Zhu calmed down a little after seeing Wen Li come in and also sat down on a stool.
Tong Zhu looked at Tian Yuzhi: "We agreed before that if we were going out to play, we would split the costs equally. You said that since you didn't eat those things, you didn't have to pay. Why didn't you make that clear when you said that?"
Tian Yuzhi burst into tears, feeling wronged, and whispered, "But I didn't touch any of those things. You ordered them all. Am I supposed to pay for the things you ordered separately?"
Tong Zhu laughed sarcastically after hearing this.
"Fine, Tian Yuzhi, I won't delve into whether you ate those things or not, and I don't care why you weren't as bold as you are now in expressing your thoughts when we were eating together. You don't need to give me the money, but don't ask me anything in the future, and don't talk to me again!"
