The door was pushed open, and a beam of light shone in. Qin Ruolan saw a petite figure enter into the light.
Then, the door slammed shut, shutting out the sunlight.
Qin Ruolan then got a clear look at Wen Li's appearance. She was slender and dressed neatly in a black, white, and red baseball uniform, with wide, straight gray trousers. She had her hair tied in a high ponytail, with a wisp of bangs on her forehead and long, curled eyelashes. At that moment, her round eyes were staring at her intently.
"Little Pear, you're back!"
Xu Yurong was the first to react. She didn't know if Wen Li had heard what her mother said, so she quickly stood up and turned to ask the aunt to bring Wen Li a fruit platter.
