With a swift movement of his long arm, Ji Jiuying was caught off guard when she was pressed against his chest. Their chests were pressed tightly together, and his unique amber scent wafted over her, intoxicatingly sweet.
His handsome, stunning face loomed large before her; she could hear his heartbeat and feel the tickle of his breath on her neck.
Gong Mingyue's gaze was intense and honest, as clear as a lake, reflecting her face.
Her mind was in complete turmoil, her heart pounding rapidly.
Ji Jiuying instinctively tried to push him away, but at her level, breaking free was simply a pipe dream!
She opened her eyes wide, staring in panic at the pair of half-closed dark eyes that were looking at her at close range.
Gong Mingyue wrapped one arm around her slender waist and placed the other hand on the back of her head, rendering Ji Jiuying unable to move.
Suddenly, something landed on her forehead, followed by a light, fleeting kiss.
Ji Jiuying's mind went blank at this moment; she had never even considered accepting him.
"Gong Mingyue!" A silver needle appeared in Ji Jiuying's hand and stabbed mercilessly into Gong Mingyue's waist.
Gong Mingyue looked into her fiery eyes before releasing Ji Jiuying.
"Little Jiu'er, you repay kindness with enmity!"
Ji Jiuying looked at Gong Mingyue warily.
"There are still half a month until the Genius Competition. Doesn't Xiao Jiu Jiu want to go to the Monster Forest to improve her strength as soon as possible?" Gong Mingyue said with a smile.
