Xu Xiaoyan then stopped crying.
She quickly wiped away her tears and forced a smile, "Sun Yu, then I won't cry anymore."
"Xu Xiaoyan, your tearful and cowardly appearance is really ugly. Can't you be more poised and confident?"
Sun Yu frowned and said with disdain, "My sister and the others haven't treated you and your mother badly, so why do you still look so poor? People might think the Xu family is unkind and bullied you and your mother."
Out of consideration for being a distant relative, the Xu family arranged for Xu Xiaoyan's mother to be admitted to the intensive care unit, which is very expensive. In other families, they would have kicked her out long ago to fend for herself.
