Back in Kyoto, Li Yanru asked, "Granddaughter, may I go see Fu Rong directly?"
"Grandma, that's fine."
Shu Mowan smiled and said, "If you want, I can take you there every day so she can see how well you're doing."
Li Yanru smiled happily, and the wrinkles on her face, etched by the years, became vivid.
"My dear granddaughter, you are so good."
She patted Shu Mowan's hand, saying, "I also want to go over there every day to annoy her to death."

Li Yanru said with a mixture of hatred and smugness, "You stole my son back then, didn't you ever imagine that he would bring me back decades later?"
"But there's nothing you can do if you can't believe it. Heaven has seen everything you've done, and now the truth has come out. You're in jail, while I've been brought back to enjoy my son's happiness."
She knew how to touch Li Yanru's heart.
"Shut up! You're nothing but a lowly person. Shu Chuxiao admits you're only ridiculed by high society. What's there to be proud of?"
Fu Rong said sarcastically in a cold voice.
