She wasn't stupid; she could naturally guess Liu Qianmei's little scheme. Having Yu Morao bring her boyfriend from a wealthy family was just a way to let people know that they had the Shu family as their backer.
After hanging up the phone, Shu Mowan went back and said, "Grandma, the Yu family mother and daughter have come to see you."
Now that Liu Qiaochu has fully recovered from her illness and has remembered everything, her enthusiasm for Liu Qianmei, her only daughter, has faded somewhat.

Shu Mowan suppressed her smile and said seriously.

"Mom, I brought Rao Rao and her boyfriend to see you."
When Liu Qianmei saw Liu Qiaochu, she immediately pretended that she had never had any grudges against her and greeted her mother warmly like an ordinary daughter.
As a result, Liu Qiaochu swung her cane at her bound feet, startling her so much that she dodged to the side, exclaiming in alarm, "Mom, what are you doing?"
