Chapter 3 The little girl who saved me looks a lot like Xiao Yun

Yu Mowan ran downstairs and rushed to the unconscious old man.

"I'm a doctor, please take a look at me."

After speaking to the old man's attendant, she knelt down and began to examine him.

The attendants exchanged glances, wondering whether to believe Yu Mowan or politely ask her to leave, when a cold, sharp female voice rang out: "Miss Yu, I know you love to show off, but do you know who this old gentleman is? If something happens to him while you're in charge, can you take responsibility?"

Yu Mowan first examined the old man's body and determined that he had suffered a sudden acute myocardial infarction. The best time to save a person is only four minutes, and she had already wasted a minute or two by running down the street. So she didn't bother to answer the people who questioned her and simply took out an exquisite box.

She pried open the old man's mouth to feed him the medicine, but the woman's voice became even sharper: "Yu Mowan, stop right there! This is Old Master Si, do you think you can give him your substandard medicine?"

"What are you all standing there for? Stop her! What kind of problems will she cause the old man? How will you explain this to the Si family?"

She not only scolded Yu Mowan, but also summoned Master Si's entourage.

Several attendants immediately sprang into action, about to stop Yu Mowan, when Xiao Jiyu arrived and interrupted, "Gentlemen, if you don't want your old man to get into trouble, then don't stop my little Wanwan from saving people."

"Let go."

The head follower glanced at Xiao Jiyu and shouted.

Out of consideration for Yu Mowan's good intentions, he was still somewhat polite to Xiao Jiyu and did not immediately attack him.

Xiao Jiyu didn't release it, but instead showed something to his attendant.

When the attendant realized what it was, his pupils widened suddenly, and he turned to look at Yu Mowan, "She is..."

"Yu Mowan, can't you understand human language? Stop right now!"

The furious woman interrupted her attendant, saying sternly:

Yu Mowan frowned, glanced at the woman with displeasure, and said, "Jiyu, shut her up."

She frequently visited the nursing home and knew that this woman was the head doctor there. She was skilled in medicine, but she was prone to judging people by their appearance and was extremely jealous. Although she hadn't spent much time with her, she privately spoke ill of her to others with the utmost malice.

They thought she was beautiful, but just a pretty face with no substance, so naturally they wouldn't believe she had medical skills.

"Okay, little Wanwan."

Xiao Jiyu stepped forward as ordered, directly silencing the woman before she could speak, and whispered in her ear, "Ugly woman, if you keep talking nonsense, I don't mind cutting out your tongue."

The woman was indeed frightened, but anger at being called ugly still prevailed.

That damned man, how dare he call her ugly.

"Hmm..."

She struggled to curse, but suddenly felt a dagger pressed against her waist. She stiffened and looked down, her face draining of color.

"Any more nonsense?"

Xiao Jiyu asked with a smile.

The woman shook her head fearfully.

The area became quiet, and Yu Mowan finally felt some peace and quiet. After feeding the old man his medicine, she took out the silver needles she carried with her, disinfected them briefly, and then administered the acupuncture.

After a short while, the old man slowly opened his eyes.

His eyes were met with a young and beautiful face. He was clearly taken aback and said weakly, "Xiao Yun, how come you've become so young?"

But wait, this face does resemble Yun Yun in his memory, but upon closer inspection, they can still be distinguished.

The girl before him was stunningly beautiful, but her alluring fox-like eyes held a coldness.

Suddenly, a thought struck him, and his somewhat cloudy pupils widened abruptly. Could this little girl be the future granddaughter-in-law he was about to meet?

"Little girl, you..."

He wanted to ask Yu Mowan about her family situation, but she interrupted him, "Sir, you haven't recovered yet. You should get a full checkup."

As she spoke, she looked up at the old man's attendants and instructed them to take him for a check-up.

After her attendants learned of her identity as a divine healer, they obeyed her every word.

"Grandpa, let's go get a check-up first."

The leader of the entourage said.

Old Master Si was well aware of his physical condition, so he did not refuse, but before leaving he insisted that his attendant get Yu Mowan's contact information.

"Little girl, if you don't give it to me, I won't leave."

Seeing that Yu Mowan seemed to want to refuse, Elder Si resorted to shamelessness.

Left with no other choice, Yu Mowan had to give her attendant her contact information. Only then was Elder Si pleased, and he secretly gave his attendant a wink.

The attendant immediately understood and called Yu Mowan back.

He only hung up when his phone rang, relieved.

"Little girl, I'll call you after I'm done with the checkup. You have to answer, or I'll start crying."

Old Master Si didn't forget to remind her, "You're beautiful and kind-hearted, you wouldn't want me to hide under the covers and cry, right?"

Yu Mowan glanced at Elder Si and promised, "I will accept it."

Only then was Master Si satisfied and led away by his attendants.

Xiao Jiyu, who was holding something against the female director, gave her a light push and said, "You can get out now."

"you……"

The female director was furious and about to curse when she saw Xiao Jiyu walk up to Yu Mowan and say meaningfully, "Little Wanwan, the Si family just called me and you saved their old man. That's a kind of fate. So, do you want to take on this mission?"

The Si family is very generous. Even if they can't cure a patient, they will still receive a reward of five million. If they can cure the patient, the reward will be at least fifty million, not to mention they will also gain a favor from the Si family.

This is a favor that many people would kill for.

Yu Mowan thought for a moment, then said, "Okay."

She didn't dislike Old Master Si and was willing to treat his insomnia.

Xiao Jiyu raised her phone. "Xiao Wanwan, I'm going to make the call now."

Yu Mowan had no objection.
