Outside Ghost Ridge, Wu Xie used his power to support the barrier. A bead of cold sweat trickled down his forehead. Why hadn't he come out yet? Time was almost up!
Suddenly, two figures darted out from Ghost Ridge; it was Ruan Xiyan and Jun Yu who had rushed out.
The moment they emerged, the entrance to Ghost Ridge closed.
Ruan Xiyan breathed a sigh of relief; she had finally made it.
"Miss Ruan, how is she?" Wu Xie asked.
Ruan Xiyan took out the bottle. "However, my father's remnant soul has been in Ghost Ridge for quite some time and has been corrupted by malevolent energy. He is now very weak."
She could purify the deathly aura on the remnant soul with the Glazed Demon Flame, but the malevolent aura was too violent, and she dared not rashly clean it up.
“I said before that I would repay Miss Ruan’s kindness, and now it’s time to make that promise.” Wu Xie reached out to Ruan Xiyan, “Leave it to me.”

"Really?" Ruan Xiyan raised an eyebrow at him. "I suddenly remembered that I have something to ask Wu Xie. I'll go ask him then."
Before Ruan Xiyan could turn around, Jun Yu grabbed her arm. "What does Ayan want to know? I'll tell Ayan."
Ruan Xiyan looked at Jun Yu with a smile, "Ah Yu, do you know how adorable you are with your proud and arrogant look?"
She placed her hands on Junyu's neck and gave him a light peck on the lips.
“If I hadn’t met him in the underworld this time, I would have almost forgotten about him. You are the mighty Demon Lord of the Demon Realm, you should have confidence in yourself.”
"Whether he is Wu Xie from the secular continent or the Lord of the Underworld, I only love A Yu."
Jun Yu's eyes darkened, and he instantly hugged Ruan Xiyan tighter, deepening the kiss.
Ruan Xiyan leaned lightly against Jun Yu, her breath coming in short gasps, and played with a strand of his hair.

Ruan Xiyan lowered her eyes. It seemed that A Yu was hiding something from her, or perhaps things were not as easy as he made them out to be.
What is it that Ah Yu doesn't want her to know? What is the deal he made with the Lord of the Underworld...?
In the Underworld Palace, Wu Xie, who was handling affairs, heard the noise at the door and a playful glint flashed in his eyes.
Ruan Xiyan entered the hall without being stopped by the underworld guards at the entrance.
"Miss Ruan, please sit down."
Seeing his completely unsurprised expression, Ruan Xiyan asked, "You knew I was coming all along?"
“The Miss Ruan I know is not someone who likes to keep things to herself,” Wu Xie replied.
"You seem to know quite a lot." Ruan Xiyan's eyes darkened.
"This is my underworld, so I naturally know more than Miss Ruan."
"I've come to ask what the deal you made with A-Yu was?" Ruan Xiyan asked bluntly. "A-Yu said he would help you reincarnate. You are the Lord of the Underworld, so why would you want to reincarnate into the mortal world?"
It was as if many mysteries were surrounding her, leaving her bewildered and completely confused.
"Everyone says that the Lord of the Underworld controls life and death, but that's just an appearance. If I had a choice, I would only want to go back to being the carefree god I used to be."
