The sword shadow quickly reached the spirit bear, and just as it was about to strike, the spirit bear suddenly vanished from sight, and the attack missed its target.
The spirit bear that had been in front appeared behind Ruan Xiyan.
Ruan Xiyan's pupils contracted. How could this be? The spirit bear was enormous; it couldn't possibly be this fast.
The spirit bear standing behind Ruan Xiyan attacked with a gust of wind.
Ruan Xiyan turned to defend herself, but was thrown back by the force of the impact. As she flew backward, she caught a glimpse of the flowers dancing in the wind all around her.
This is... Qi Xiangluo!
The fragrant flower can emit a series of floral scents that can cause hallucinations.
It turned out that it wasn't that the spirit bear's speed had reached the point of leaving afterimages, but rather that these Qixiangluo were playing tricks on the side.
Ruan Xiyan steadied herself, and black Glazed Demon Flame appeared in her hand.
The rampant flames burned towards the surrounding fragrant flowers, and in an instant, flames shot into the sky, turning the sea of flowers into ashes.
Ruan Xiyan stared at the spirit bear. Without Qi Xiangluo's help, she wanted to see how it could still deceive her.
Her Frostfall Sword stood before her, radiating endless coldness, and several ice spikes condensed before her eyes.
She raised her hand and waved it, sending countless ice spikes flying towards the spirit bear standing there.
The spirit bear swung its arm to block the ice spikes, which were as soft and flowing as water. Upon touching its body, the ice spikes transformed into chains.
The chains were wrapped around the spirit bear's limbs, but with the spirit bear's strength, the chains alone could not restrain it.
Ruan Xiyan quickly flipped her palms to form a hand seal, and an ice mark was unleashed.
The moment the ice crystal cage that rose from the ground trapped the spirit bear, the spirit bear shattered the chains on its body into powder.
Watching the spirit bear smashing its fists into the ice crystal cage, cracks appeared on the cage with just one strike.
Ruan Xiyan didn't give the spirit bear a chance to break free of its cage, and clenched her fist tightly.
The ice crystal cage shattered on the spot, and the shockwave from the explosion caused the spirit bear to roll several times on the ground, smashing the boulder behind it.
"Cough cough cough!"
The spirit bear rose from the ground, waving away the dust that swirled in front of it. "You've got some skill, but you're still a long way from defeating me."
The spirit bear patted its chest and continued charging towards Ruan Xiyan.
Inside the Wind Spirit Space.
Ah Li swayed the wind spirit who was sleeping soundly on the moon boat.
"Sister Fengling, wake up! Master is fighting with a big, clumsy bear. We want to go out and help."
Feng Ling waved her hand at A Li, "Since the master didn't call you, it means he can handle it himself and doesn't need your help. What's the rush?"
Feng Ling slowly woke up, rubbed her sleepy eyes, sat up from the moon boat, and checked the situation outside.
When she saw clearly the spirit bear fighting Ruan Xiyan, her previously dazed eyes suddenly cleared.
"Big guy!" Feng Ling murmured, "How did this big, clumsy bear end up here? And what's more, it's fighting with its owner."
Feng Ling looked anxious, but she was just a spirit and couldn't get out of the space at all.
"Sister Fengling, do you really want to go out?" A-Li asked, looking at Fengling's expression.
Feng Ling nodded. "I'm an old friend of that big, clumsy bear. I want to go out and see it. Once it sees me, it won't be so hostile towards my master."
Ah Li tilted her head and pondered for a moment, "Perhaps I can help Sister Feng Ling."
"Koi brings blessings." As soon as Ah Li finished speaking, a halo of blessing appeared beneath Feng Ling's feet.
"Sister Fengling, with my blessing halo, you can freely enter and exit the space."
"However, with my current strength, I can only let Sister Fengling go out for the time it takes for an incense stick to burn. Once the time is up, Sister Fengling will return to the space."
Spatial spirits exist because of space; once they develop consciousness, they are destined to be trapped within space.
Only by cultivating a physical body can one be free from spatial constraints and freely travel between space and the outside world.
However, for a spirit to cultivate a physical form is far from easy; it's practically wishful thinking.
"That's enough, thank you, Ali." Feng Ling smiled.
"Sister Fengling, you're too kind." A-Li smiled sweetly.
With the blessing halo's power, Feng Ling flashed away from the space.
Ruan Xiyan, who was fighting the spirit bear, looked at the wind spirit that appeared in front of her and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes. "Wind spirit?! You can leave the space now."
"Master, this is all thanks to A-Li." Feng Ling looked at the golden halo beneath her feet.
This halo represents the amount of time she can stay in the outside world.
The longer she stays, the fainter the golden light of the halo will become, until it eventually disappears completely.
"What? You can't beat me, so you called in reinforcements?" the spirit bear sneered.
Its gaze swept over the wind spirit, who was only the height of a loli, and said, "Why don't you call for someone who can fight? With this little body, you can't even take one of my punches."
"It's been so long, I think you big guy are asking for a beating again." Feng Ling clenched her fists so tightly they cracked as she listened to the arrogant words of the spirit bear.
The spirit bear looked at Feng Ling with a puzzled expression, and scratched the back of its head rather clumsily.
Why did it feel that the little girl in front of it looked familiar, especially the tone of her voice? It was so familiar.
Before it could figure out what was happening, Feng Ling was already in front of it, punching it in the third eye on its forehead.
The spirit bear cried out in pain.
Its third eye on its forehead is its Achilles' heel. Its entire body is covered in thick, tough skin, so no matter how strong the attack, it cannot feel any pain.
The third eye is the most vulnerable part, and also the part that is most likely to cause it pain.
No one ever knew about this weakness. Was the little girl's attack a coincidence?
But her attack was aimed precisely at its third eye on its forehead, as if she knew something.
Before the spirit bear could figure it out, the wind spirit attacked several more spots on its body.
The spirit bear suddenly burst into laughter, its whole body itching intensely, and it began to wriggle.
"Haha—stop! Haha, stop... your hands! Haha—"
The spirit bear was almost laughing through its tears. It was a majestic spirit bear, unafraid of pain, only afraid of being tickled.
The spirit bear was all too familiar with this series of pranks.
Although a thousand years have passed, this sense of familiarity seems to be etched into its very bones, making it unforgettable.
"Sister Ling, I was wrong, hahaha! Please forgive me!" Ling Xiong laughed and rolled on the ground.
Feng Ling then stopped what she was doing and snorted, "You little brat, I can't handle you."
