In a desolate place, a woman lay dying on the ground, a bloody hole in her chest, her soul severely damaged, beyond saving.
The sky and earth were dark, and everything around seemed to be mourning.
When Junyu arrived, this was the scene he saw. His eyes widened in disbelief, and then he staggered forward.
"Your Highness, what's wrong? What happened? Weren't you supposed to be discussing with Cang Jun how to resolve the turbid energy erupting from the Demon Realm Boundary Marker?"
"Why are you here, and injured like this? Who could have hurt you so badly?" Jun Yu picked up Yan Yue. Her chest was empty, with only a bloody hole left, and no longer a lively, beating heart.
His hands trembled as he poured power into her body, but no matter how much power he poured in, it was to no avail; her breath continued to weaken, and her life force was constantly slipping away.
"Don't waste your energy, it's useless." Yan Yue stopped her, her eyes looking at the blood moon in the sky, where something shimmered. "Look, the world's turbidity has been cleared away, and the demon realm is safe."
"You used your Bodhi Exquisite Heart to seal the turbid energy, and then suppressed the Bodhi Exquisite Heart within the Blood Moon." Jun Yu's pupils contracted.
"You said you found a way to deal with the turbid energy, but you were lying to me. From beginning to end, you have always wanted to protect the Demon Realm by sacrificing yourself."
