Chapter 8 I was framed!

"Li Rao, I hope you enjoy being a homeless person tonight." Li Ruo quickly pushed the person into the room and closed the door.

A commotion came from not far away; it must be Li Zhiqi returning with the homeless man.

Li Ruo turned and walked towards the stairwell, but after taking only two steps, her wrist was suddenly pulled out.

The next second, she felt dizzy and the world spun before her eyes. When she came to her senses, Li Ruo was already pinned against the wall by the man.

Wen Huaiyan pinched her chin, "What have you been doing?"

His probing gaze was unmistakable; he knew he shouldn't have trusted this woman.

"Mr. Wen, what brings you here?" Li Ruo hugged the man tightly and said pitifully, "I just ran into Li's people. They tried to bully me, so I got lost."

The man didn't speak, his gaze still seeming to be scrutinizing something.

Tears welled up in Li Ruo's eyes, and her voice was filled with grievance: "My dress was also stained by my sister."

Upon hearing this, Wen Huaiyan noticed that her dress was stained with wine and her hair was slightly disheveled.

He pursed his lips: "I'll take you to clean it up."

The woman's skin was smooth and delicate. Wen Huaiyan stroked it for a moment, then reluctantly withdrew his hand, but there was no smile on his face: "Don't run around like that next time."

Li Ruo knew that he meant he would not pursue the matter any further, and immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

Judging from Wen Huaiyan's expression, I'm afraid I'll have to go to great lengths to please him again when I get back tonight.

She obediently followed behind Wen Huaiyan, cautiously watching the man's back.

For some reason, Li Ruo always felt that Wen Huaiyan in this life was very different from the past.

Beneath her cold and indifferent exterior, she seems to have gained a touch of softness compared to before.

Li Ruo was taken to Wen Huaiyan's lounge, and the decor there was indeed on a completely different level from the outside.

The smell of alcohol on her body was unbearable for Li Ruo, so after taking a shower, she came out wearing only a bath towel.

Wen Huaiyan was standing by the window making a phone call. On the table was an exquisite gift bag, and it was easy to tell that a woman's dress was inside.

Li Ruo immediately understood and changed her clothes.

At this moment, Wen Huaiyan hung up the phone and walked towards her.

The moment their eyes met, a flash of amazement crossed Wen Huaiyan's eyes.

"All done?"

Li Ruo nodded and obediently took the man's arm: "Thank you, Mr. Wen."

Wen Huaiyan seemed unusually humane tonight, and for a moment she couldn't quite believe that the person in front of her was really Wen Huaiyan.

Suddenly she remembered that in her previous life, Wen Huaiyan had held her in his arms during some extremely romantic moments and said that as long as she was obedient, he would naturally become gentler.

So what he said back then was true, but I didn't listen to him at all, only thinking about flying out of the villa and into Wen Changfeng's arms.

The birthday banquet was not over yet, so Li Ruo and her companion naturally could not linger in the lounge for too long.

After a quick makeover, she left with the others.

As Li Ruo passed the second floor, she heard a crying sound.

"That's not true! I don't know that man inside. I was framed!"

She looked in the direction of the sound and saw a familiar figure lying on the ground, surrounded by reporters.

The woman's hair was disheveled, her body was covered in red marks, and her smooth white legs were exposed. Her face showed heartbreaking despair.

At this moment, the woman was clutching the blankets tightly to her chest with both hands, desperately trying to cover every inch of her body.
