Li Ruo was already upset by the series of events that had happened today, and now she launched into a tirade without even knowing what had happened. She gave a faint smile and forcefully steered the conversation back on track: "President Lin, I'm here on behalf of the company to negotiate. Shall we talk in the conference room?"
"Cooperation is certainly something to discuss, but there's no rush."
Lin Kangle chuckled slowly, then his gaze lingered on Li Ruo's cleavage for a moment: "Miss Li, you have a really good figure. No wonder so many men are so eager to be with you. Even this collaboration was entrusted to a deputy minister like you. It seems that person truly loves you."
This statement, though seemingly not derogatory, is full of sarcasm.

"Mr. Lin, your mouth is as repulsive as ever!"
Since he had gone so far as to bully her, Li Ruo decided to stop pretending.
From the moment she learned that this guy was in charge of the project, she knew that this matter would not end easily!
If that's the case, why should she wrong herself for something impossible?
Lin Kangle was not annoyed by this, but smiled noncommittally: "Miss Li, don't be too angry, getting angry can cause wrinkles."
Li Ruo took a deep breath, suppressing her anger: "What exactly do you want?"
Lin Kangle raised an eyebrow and said casually, "It's simple. You just come to dinner with me, and we'll be even. We'll handle business matters officially. What do you think?"

A moment later, Wen Zhi's voice came through the receiver: "What's wrong?"
"Zhizhi, there's big news! Li Ruo is having dinner with Lin Kangle right now!"
Upon hearing this, Wen Zhi was shocked and somewhat incredulous: "Are you kidding me? How could those two be together?"
