Yun Jin shook her head.
"So you're here on official business?" the old woman continued to ask.
Yun Jin saw through her intention and said directly, "My husband is a soldier. What else do you want to know? Why don't you ask him?"
Upon hearing that he was a military dependent, the old woman smiled warily, made an excuse to leave, and knew that this person was not to be trifled with.
She looks young, fair-skinned and delicate, and seems easy to fool. How did she end up getting married, especially to a military family member?
She must have been really bored to target military dependents.
After scaring the person away, Yun Jin checked the time and continued to wait for the train to arrive.
The thought of seeing the father and daughter tomorrow made me wish I could grow wings and fly back.
When Yun Jin went to the restroom, she saw the old woman whispering to another girl, trying to get close to her and ask about the situation. The girl looked to be about fifteen or sixteen years old and seemed naive and easily fooled.
When Yun Jin came out of the restroom, she saw that the little girl was about to leave with the old woman. Yun Jin narrowed her eyes and strode over: "What are you doing here? I've been looking for you for ages. Come on, come on, our car is about to leave."
The little girl was dumbfounded.
The old woman frowned: "Who are you? Do you know them?"
"She's my cousin, how could I not know her? Let go of her, or I'll call for help." Yun Jin was even fiercer than the old woman, with sharp eyes that seemed to see right through people.
Feeling guilty, the old woman tugged at the little girl a few times, but Yun Jin wouldn't let her go, so she could only grumble and let go.
The little girl asked in confusion, "You seem to have mistaken me for someone else."
"Do you even know who that old woman is? You were almost taken away by human traffickers. If you don't want to be sold into the mountains as a wife, you'd better not listen to anyone," Yun Jin warned.
The little girl looked shaken: "She said she was going the same way as me, knew the area well, and wanted to keep me company. I thought..."
"Be careful when you're out and about. Don't trust anyone, or you might get sold out without even knowing it." Yun Jin finished scolding the gullible girl and left.
She happened to save someone this time; she can't possibly save people every time.
Whether she gets scammed in the future is up to her.
Yun Jin happened to run into it; if she hadn't, she wouldn't have bothered with it.
