Chapter 205 Not buying it

Yun Jin's gaze darkened: "What did they say?"

He Lifang repeated what Ai Lan and the others had said to Yun Jin, and Yun Jin found it more and more amusing: "Don't be afraid, they wouldn't dare. If they really wanted to do that, they wouldn't have told you. They're just trying to scare me."

What a joke! Yun Jin wouldn't be scared by three little girls.

If they had the guts, they would have gone to the principal to report the situation long ago, instead of specifically asking He Lifang to relay the message.

He Lifang asked worriedly, "Are you really alright?"

Yun Jin nodded affirmatively.

Seeing her so calm, He Lifang looked at her with admiration for a while and felt relieved.

Sure enough, after class, Ailan and the other two saw that Yun Jin showed no fear whatsoever and didn't seem to want to discuss things with them at all. They were so angry that they stomped their feet in frustration and whispered among themselves, "What should we do? She's not buying it at all."

"I knew she wouldn't believe me. Should we still go to the principal?"

Ailan rolled her eyes inwardly. Did they really think the principal was so easy to find?

She was just saying it to scare Yun Jin.

Who knew this person didn't believe him at all.

Just then, Yun Jin happened to look over, making the three of them lower their heads guiltily, not daring to meet her gaze at all.

Ailan's heart pounded. Forget about complaining, she would have to avoid her from now on.

This woman is terrifying.

No wonder she married a military officer.

Thinking about the money she owed Yun Jin, Ai Lan had no choice but to tighten her belt and live frugally.

Yun Jin looked at the three people who were as guilty as quails, and curled her lips in disdain. She was a little disappointed. She didn't expect them to be so weak.

After that, Yun Jin's car tires were never punctured or deflated.

This was all the result of Yun Jin teaching Ai Lan and the other three girls a lesson. Many people in the class knew about her teaching them a lesson, and they all said that Yun Jin was ruthless and that Ai Lan and the others were despicable.

They actually punctured someone's tires! How dare they damage something as important as a car?

It was already merciful of them not to make each of them pay for a bicycle.

Some people say that a flat tire can be repaired, and the cost is fifty yuan per person, two hundred yuan for four people, plus industrial tickets, enough to buy a new car.

Regardless of what they thought, no one dared to criticize Yun Jin for doing something wrong in front of her. It wasn't like they were being asked to pay money, so why make a fool of themselves? They had already seen Yun Jin's fighting power from the Pan Liwei incident.

Her man isn't just for show.

If his wife is bullied, he can run back from his post and beat the person up in one go; that's what you call being a protective husband.

We can't afford to mess with them!

They're simply not to be trifled with.

Before May Day, Yun Jin's class had one more person.

When the real Pan Liwei appeared in class, everyone stared at him curiously, making him feel embarrassed, his face turning red, and he almost didn't know where to put his hands.

He awkwardly introduced himself: "Classmates, I... I am Pan Liwei. It is an honor to be your classmate, and I would also like to thank Yun Jin for helping me find my university admission letter."

Yun Jin, whose name was called, stood up and said gracefully, "You're welcome, welcome back, Pan. If you don't understand anything, you can ask the class monitor. We won't wait for you. You've been taking classes for several months now, so you need to catch up quickly."

Those present: "..."

Anyone who didn't know her would think she was a teacher.

Class monitor: "......"

That sounds so official.

Zhen Pan Liwei: "Thank you...!"

Is she really my classmate, or not my teacher?

Yun Jin didn't care what they thought; after speaking, she naturally sat down.

The teacher standing nearby: "..."

She's so capable, it's unbelievable. Are all military officers' wives like that?

It's May Day, a long holiday.

Yun Jin had already spoken with He Tingchuan. Since they weren't going to their residence, He Tingchuan submitted a report requesting to return to Beijing to be with his wife and daughter.

Yun Jin and Xiao Niangao were waiting at the train station. Xiao Niangao had brought food with her, as if she was worried that her father would go hungry after getting off the train.

As soon as He Tingchuan got off the train, he saw Xiao Niangao running towards him with something in her hand. He scooped her up and kissed her: "Missed your dad?"

"Yes!" Little Rice Cake answered crisply.

He Tingchuan affectionately rubbed his face against his daughter's cheek: "Daddy misses Nian Gao too. I'll take the train back to see you and Mommy as soon as I get a holiday!"

"Mommy misses Daddy too!" Little Rice Cake took the opportunity to show her affection to Yun Jin.

He Tingchuan smiled and said, "Dad knows, Dad misses you all too."

As he said this, He Tingchuan looked intently at Yun Jin, who was walking towards him. She was wearing a long dress with a dress on. It was only 1978, the year when the reform and opening up policy was first proposed, and a series of policies had not yet been truly implemented.

The women's clothing and appearance are not much different from before, but they will be different in the next two years.

Yun Jin looked exceptionally beautiful in the dress, her long hair flowing over her shoulders, her eyes sparkling on her delicate face. She was as beautiful as a forsythia, which caught He Tingchuan's eye.

Yun Jin looked at He Tingchuan, who was wearing military green pants and a white shirt. Because of the long train journey, the shirt was a little wrinkled, but it still did not detract from He Tingchuan's tall and handsome appearance. Even the stubble on his chin gave him a wild look.

The couple looked at each other, their eyes locked in a silent exchange.

He Tingchuan strode towards Yun Jin, his gaze gentle and his voice soft: "Have you been waiting long?"

"It's been almost an hour. Your daughter was so afraid of missing your train that she kept urging me to leave early this morning," Yun Jin complained.

He Tingchuan happily gave Xiao Niangao a kiss on the cheek: "Xiao Niangao can't wait to see Daddy?"

Little Rice Cake nodded happily, wrapped her little arms around her father's neck, and gave him a kiss: "Mmm, I want to see Daddy soon, Daddy. Are you hungry? I brought you some food."
