Chapter 248 Junjun is Abducted

Yun Jin looked in the direction Xiao Niangao was pointing, and her beautiful eyes darkened.

My gaze lingered on the little boy's dirty face, straining to make out his features. Then I met his eyes, which held a mixture of grievance, fear, anxiety, nervousness, and the look of someone who had seen a savior.

What else is uncertain about Yun Jin?

This child is the one I met on the train.

Didn't he go south with his mother to join the army? How did he end up here?

Realizing the child might be lost, Yun Jin cautiously asked, "Are you Junjun? Is your mother's name Guan Wei?"

When Junjun saw that Yun Jin still recognized him, tears streamed down his face. He opened his mouth but couldn't speak, only sobbing and nodding frantically. He excitedly grabbed Yun Jin's clothes, begging her to save him.

"Don't be afraid, it's okay. Auntie will take you home and try to contact your parents." Yun Jin looked at the child who was crying so hard he was almost out of breath, and took out a handkerchief to wipe his face covered in snot and tears.

Just then, a fierce-looking man rushed over: "Who are you? What are you going to do to my son?"

Upon hearing his voice, Junjun shuddered in fright and instinctively hid behind Yunjin. He also pulled Xiaoniangao to hide as well, because Xiaoniangao was cute and they liked children like her.

Yun Jin's gaze darkened slightly as she watched Junjun's actions, then she looked at the fierce-looking man: "Your son?"

“That’s right, my son.” As he spoke, the fierce man reached out to grab Junjun, saying, “You little brat, come here right now. Don’t think you can get away with hiding. In the blink of an eye, you’ve caused me trouble. I’ll beat you to death when we get back.”

As soon as the man spoke, Junjun trembled with fear. His body language and reaction showed that he was terrified of the man.

Yun Jin knew that she had encountered human traffickers again.

Yun Jin sneered, "You say he's your son? Why don't you take a piss and look at yourself in the mirror? How could you have given birth to such a son?"

The ruthless man, having been personally attacked, looked at the seemingly delicate woman in front of him, whose words were incredibly hurtful. He thought to himself, "If she were in my hands, I'd make her give me a son and see if I could produce such a son."

The human trafficker mocked, "He looks like his mother."

Yun Jin said sarcastically, "He does look like his mother, but what does that have to do with you, a human trafficker?"

Once his identity was exposed, the human trafficker's face contorted with rage and his eyes turned fierce: "What nonsense are you spouting? I'm not a human trafficker, you are! You kidnapped my son and you're planning to kidnap my daughter too!"

As she spoke, her large hand reached out towards Junjun and Xiaoniangao, who huddled together behind Yunjin in fright, afraid of being kidnapped by human traffickers: "You two should come home with Daddy quickly! This woman is no good, she's a human trafficker..."

Before he could finish speaking, something cold pressed against his head.

The trafficker glanced at it sideways, recognized it, and his face changed drastically, his expression panicking: "Lady, let's talk this out, don't... don't touch the gun."

The other people waiting for the bus, who were originally there to watch the show, wanted to know whose children they were.

Some people could tell that this fierce man was no good and were wondering how Yun Jin would deal with him when he silently pulled out a gun.

Everyone present instinctively took three steps back upon seeing this.

Ignoring their reactions, Yun Jin unlocked the safety latch and asked, "Tell me, whose children are they?"

"Yours, yours, all yours." The trafficker knew what was going on and realized that Yun Jin had a real weapon. He was trembling with fear and didn't want to anger the woman and get shot in the head with a gun.

"No, the girl is my daughter, the boy's parents are someone else." After correcting him, Yun Jin asked, "Where did you get these people from?"

"I...it wasn't me, I didn't lie to the child!" the trafficker denied.

Yun Jin ignored his nonsense: "I'll count to three. If you don't behave, you'll be eating firewood. One...three!"

The trafficker hesitated for a moment before realizing what was happening. Seeing the man about to pull the trigger, he immediately blurted out in fear, "It was Old Monster! Old Monster sold him to me! He said this child couldn't speak and was disliked by others, so he sold him to me to beg for money. I don't know where he kidnapped him from..."

Yun Jin knew she wouldn't get any information out of him, and she didn't want to continue on the street for fear of being watched.

Human traffickers operate in gangs, unlike the robbers from last time.

Yun Jin asked where the nearest police station was. After a passerby gave her directions, Yun Jin told the two children to follow. They were going to report a crime. Xiao Niangao pulled Junjun, and Junjun held onto her. The two children took care of each other and kept up with their short legs.

Some concerned citizens also said, "Do you need my help? Human traffickers should be arrested."

Before Yun Jin could speak, the trafficker seized the opportunity and, while others were distracting Yun Jin, shoved her forcefully and ran away.

Yun Jin was almost pushed off balance. Xiao Niangao and Junjun were both nervous and tried to support her, afraid that Yun Jin would fall. Yun Jin felt a warmth in her heart and gave them an appreciative smile. Then, Mu Cang narrowed his eyes at the legs of the fleeing human trafficker and said, "Cover your ears!"

Little Rice Cake and Junjun obediently covered their ears.

Yun Jin's eyes sharpened as she pulled the trigger...

With a loud bang.

The fleeing man froze for a moment, shot in the thigh, and fell to his knees. He couldn't muster any strength in his hands or legs, and in pain, he scrambled to escape.

The kind citizen who offered to help was startled. By the time he realized what was happening, Yun Jin had already chased after him, pressing her hand against his head and threatening, "Behave yourself, or I'll kill you."

The human trafficker, after being shot, immediately became obedient: "Miss, spare my life! I won't run anymore, I'll never run again! I'll go to the police station with you, please don't kill me!"
