Chapter 440 Charlie's Birthday

That evening, Yun Jin and the others went to the ship's restaurant for dinner, inviting Lin Wenfang and her husband, along with Charlie.

He Tingchuan had eaten here twice before when he was in Gangcheng for eye treatment, and Yun Jin wanted to try the shrimp, crab, and pineapple buns.

After eating, Lin Wenfang couldn't help but nod, "The taste is really good. I've never been here before. I didn't expect to be able to have a good meal with you guys."

Yun Jin smiled and said, "I'll invite you to eat here again next time."

"Sure!" Lin Wenfang nodded with a smile.

This was Xiaoniangao's first time here. Enjoying the sea breeze and feeding the pigeons, whether we ate or not didn't matter; the main thing was having fun.

Charlie was also drawn in, and after they finished eating, the two played together on the side.

With bodyguards protecting them, Yun Jin didn't need to keep a constant eye on them.

Knowing that He Tingchuan was leaving tomorrow, Lin Wenfang regretted that his vacation was too short. If he had enough time, he could have taken Xiao Niangao to the amusement park.

Unfortunately, He Tingchuan had to go back.

Fortunately, Yun Jin stayed in the port city for two more days.

That evening, Yun Jin also invited Zhou Da out for a late-night snack. Zhou Da met Yun Jin and her family of three. In the past few years, following Yun Jin, Zhou Da has earned a lot of extra money and has already bought a house in Hong Kong.

Upon learning that Yun Jin had bought a property in the same neighborhood as him, Zhou Da felt reassured. He had previously thought it was too remote, and if it weren't for the cheap price and the fact that it was developed by a large real estate company, he really wouldn't have dared to buy it.

Zhou Da wasn't sure either, but he always felt that this Comrade Yun Jin had a good eye for investment, and that following her would bring him good fortune.

Zhou Da laughed and said, "We'll be neighbors from now on!"

Yun Jin smiled and nodded: "Yes, it will be more convenient to visit each other in the future."

They chatted for a while that evening, and Xiao Niangao even fell asleep in He Tingchuan's arms before they went their separate ways. He Tingchuan's flight was tomorrow morning, so they needed to go to the airport early to wait for him.

He Tingchuan was worried about Yun Jin and the others: "Go back after two days of fun. This place is not like Beijing."

Yun Jin nodded: "Don't worry, we won't run around. I'll take Xiao Niangao to the aquarium, the science museum, and then to the amusement park before we go back!"

He Tingchuan then boarded the plane with peace of mind.

After watching He Tingchuan's plane take off, Yun Jinhe took Xiao Niangao to find Charlie and arranged to go to the aquarium together. Charlie's car arrived early, and the tickets had already been bought.

There weren't many people at the aquarium. Yun Jin remarked curiously, "There are so few people today."

Little Rice Cake said, "Mom, it's not that there are too few people, it's that we didn't let others come to visit."

Yun Jin: "??? Charlie, don't tell me this aquarium belongs to your family?"

Charlie nodded: "It's in my name."

Yun Jin almost knelt down: "Charlie, you really can't judge a book by its cover! You actually own businesses?"

Seeing her ears getting slightly warm, she couldn't stand the mother and daughter's straightforward praise: "It's alright, it's a gift from my dad for my eighth birthday."

"Happy birthday, Brother Charlie!" Little Rice Cake said with a smile.

Yun Jin raised an eyebrow: "Is it today?"

Charlie blushed slightly: "Mmm."

Yun Jin remembered his birthday by the date, but she didn't expect him to be celebrating his lunar birthday: "Sorry, I got it wrong. I'll treat you to dinner later."

Charlie was too embarrassed to make a request: "Nian Gao said your enamel basin cake was delicious."

Yun Jin hesitated, "I didn't bring an enamel basin."

“It’s okay, I’m all ready.” Charlie took the initiative.

Yun Jin: "...Okay, I'll make you an enamel basin cake this afternoon."

"Thank you!" Charlie smiled. The handsome young man's smile was so endearing.

The aquarium was huge; it took them several hours to walk around inside. They also enjoyed a lavish seafood feast prepared by the aquarium, right under the noses of the great sharks.

Little Rice Cake and the others were reluctant to leave, so Yun Jin could only borrow the aquarium staff canteen for a while and made an enamel basin for Little Charlie, with strawberries on it. They were all premium strawberries, fresh, sweet and juicy.

One bite, and your beautiful bottom is seven parts sweet and three parts sour.

These strawberries taste really good.

While Yun Jin was making the cake, Xiao Niangao and Xiao Charlie looked at the fish in the aquarium again, including various sea fish, jellyfish, turtles, groupers, and so on.

Under the lights, the glass tank looked absolutely beautiful. Little Rice Cake was pulling Little Charlie along, watching her enjoy looking at the sea fish. Little Charlie had never had so much fun with anyone before; he was usually alone.

Now that there's a little rice cake, he's been influenced and has started to let loose as well.

After Yun Jin finished making the enamel basin cake, she went to find Xiao Niangao and the others. The two of them were under the glass tank of the stingray, watching the two children who were glued to the glass watching the stingray. They each patted their heads and asked, "Are you tired?"

"I'm a little tired!" Little Niangao leaned against Yun Jin and said in a spoiled tone, "Mommy, I'm hungry!"

"Let's go eat cake." Yun Jin pulled the two little cuties along to eat cake.

A chilled cake tastes even better.

Charlie's eyes lit up when he first saw an enamel basin cake: "This is an enamel basin cake?"

Little Rice Cake nodded, watching Yun Jin light the candles, and urged him, "Make a wish quickly, and blow out the candles later!"

As soon as Charlie made a wish, Little Rice Cake started singing the birthday song, and Yun Jin joined in.

Charlie listened to Little Rice Cake's song, a slight smile playing on his lips. He finished making his wish and blew out the candles.

Little Rice Cake exclaimed with delight: "Happy birthday, Charlie!"

"Thank you, Rice Cake Sister!" Charlie's ears turned red.

Yun Jin handed the cake knife to Charlie, who cut a large piece of cake for Xiao Niangao. On top of it were the two reddest strawberries, which he picked out and gave to Xiao Niangao.

Little Rice Cake smiled sweetly: "Thank you, Brother Charlie!"

Charlie ate the cake made by Yun Jin, and for some reason, he thought that the cake in the enamel basin was the most delicious.
