When He Tingchuan returned home, Yun Jin and Li Aimei were planning to make fish balls from the extra fish when they saw a tall, upright man with a graceful figure walking towards them. His face was stern, his eyes were cold, and his deep gaze fell on her.
Yun Jin couldn't ignore him. She recognized who it was and stood up laughing, clutching her stomach: "Daughter's dad's back! Ai Mei, don't scrape off all the fish paste. Leave two to make braised fish."
Li Aimei smiled and nodded: "Okay!"
He then greeted He Tingchuan, "Commander He is back."
He Tingchuan nodded slightly, greeted Li Aimei, met Yun Jin's smiling face, gave her a look that said they should talk inside, stepped inside, and put down what he was carrying.
Yun Jin followed curiously: "What's wrong?"
He Tingchuan washed his face and dried it. Yun Jin had already opened his bag and found it bulging with food: "So many walnut kernels?"
"Yes, I brought you some wild walnuts." He Tingchuan watched as she unceremoniously took a piece and took a bite, anticipating her response.
Yun Jin nodded: "It's quite delicious."
He Tingchuan almost couldn't help but smile: "They're all yours. Keep them safe and eat them as soon as possible. Don't leave them for too long."
"I know, stir-fry it later, it'll be crispy and delicious." Salt-baked would be even better, but unfortunately Yun Jin doesn't know how to salt-bake, she can only stir-fry it until fragrant.
Yun Jin asked, "Was the mission successful?"
He Tingchuan nodded: "It went very smoothly."
His gaze fell on her face, meeting her bright, sparkling eyes. Judging from her appearance, she didn't seem like the type to cause trouble: "When I came back just now, I met a lot of my sisters-in-law, and they talked about some things about you."
Yun Jin wasn't surprised at all. After explaining the situation, she asked He Tingchuan, "I kindly taught them how to fish and took them on as apprentices. It's not unreasonable for me to ask for a few fish in return, is it?"
He Tingchuan also felt it wasn't excessive: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. What you did wasn't excessive at all; it's just that they're short-sighted."

The first house He Tingchuan visited was his sister-in-law's downstairs: "Is Commander Liu home?"
When Commander Liu, who had just started eating, saw He Tingchuan, he was taken aback: "You're back from your mission so quickly?"
"Hurry up, if you don't come back soon, my wife will be so wronged by my sisters-in-law that she can't eat. If I don't come back, I don't know how many days my wife will have to suffer." He Tingchuan was good at being sarcastic.
Commander Liu: "?"
Sister Liu: "???"
Yun Jin almost died laughing.

"Commander He, what are you saying? I'm just standing up for my child." Sister Liu glared at Yun Jin. This woman is shameless. She takes advantage of others and doesn't allow anyone to say anything.
Yun Jin shrugged innocently: "Sister-in-law, glaring at me won't help. The name on the note was written voluntarily by your son. I didn't make him sign it by forcing his hand. He doesn't feel wronged, so why is he blaming me?"
"Besides, if I hadn't taught your son how to fish, would your family be able to eat braised fish, boiled fish, and fish with pickled cabbage every day?"
