He Tingchuan agreed to take Yun Jin and her daughter to see the peach blossoms. When the peach blossoms were in full bloom, he rode a bicycle with Yun Jin carrying the child on the back, and a basket hanging on the handlebars.
Inside were the things Yun Jin had prepared for her picnic, along with bed sheets.

When we arrived at the peach grove, we found a spacious and beautiful spot where a peach blossom, a delicate pink, was in full bloom.
Little Rice Cake had never seen so many flowers before and wanted to pick one.
He Tingchuan broke off a branch for her.
The little rice cake looked at it for a while, then opened her mouth and took a bite. He Tingchuan was so frightened that he immediately pried the flower petal out of her mouth, which made the little rice cake unhappy, and she wanted to bite his hand.

Yun Jin slept for about an hour. Xiao Niangao got tired of playing and wanted to drink Neinei. He Tingchuan didn't want her to disturb Yun Jin, so Xiao Niangao could only whine and whimper, which woke her up.
Seeing her move, Xiao Nian Gao's eyes widened in excitement.
Yun Jin smiled as she took the little rice cake that pounced on her, and hid behind the umbrella to breastfeed it. When she saw He Tingchuan staring at her, Yun Jin manually turned his head away: "What are you looking at? There's none for you!"
He Tingchuan's eyes darkened slightly, and the corners of his mouth turned up as he whispered in her ear, "See if there's any for me tonight."
Yun Jin blushed and laughed, scolding, "Shameless!"
Instead of getting angry, He Tingchuan cheekily remarked, "What does a married man need face for? I don't care, you can have your face."
Yun Jin was speechless. This guy is getting more and more shameless. How come I never noticed how secretly passionate he was before!
However, Yun Jin quite liked it.
The family of three stayed in the peach orchard for a while. As it got hotter and hotter at noon, their little rice cake got bitten by something, leaving a red mark on its hand. They were heartbroken and worried that it might get bitten again, so they packed up and prepared to go back.
Before even reaching the compound, as they passed the training grounds, He Tingchuan spotted someone acting suspiciously. It looked like someone was cutting grass, but the person was secretly spying on the training grounds with binoculars.
That's a heavily guarded military area, and everyone in the neighborhood knows that; no one would ever cross that line.

He Tingchuan said a few words to Yun Jin, then hid her, her daughter, and the old man in the grass: "Wait here for a while. No matter what happens, don't show yourselves. I'll come and get you."

He Tingchuan gave her a deep look, then smiled confidently: "Don't worry, I'll be careful."
After saying that, he gently patted her head, then looked at the little rice cake in Yun Jin's arms with a loving gaze before leaving with peace of mind.
Yun Jin sat there calmly, waiting for He Tingchuan to come and pick up her and her daughter. Even when she heard the two gunshots, she was so frightened that she hugged her sleeping daughter tightly and dared not show her face or appear to check the situation.
She didn't care about being alone, but Yun Jin had a child in her arms, and she didn't dare to take the risk.
She believed that He Tingchuan would not break his promise, and that the gun could not hurt her.
Yun Jin didn't know how long she had been waiting there. Her whole body was tense, and she was listening intently to the sounds around her. Even when Xiao Niangao woke up, Yun Jin just silently coaxed her.
Fortunately, Xiao Niangao is very well-behaved. She doesn't cry or fuss when she wets herself. As long as her diaper is changed in time, she is a cute and clean little baby again, and she even smiles at her.
With the little rice cake distracting her, Yun Jin's inner fear wasn't so obvious.
About forty minutes after He Tingchuan left, he finally showed up, covered in mud and grass, with a slightly red forehead. He had no obvious injuries, but his clothes were stained with blood.
