Jiang Zao never cared about these things. "If you don't mind, let's call each other by our names. It'll make us seem less unfamiliar."
Wen Nuan nodded: "Of course."
The two women, who already admired each other, seemed to have grown even closer because of the change in how they addressed each other.
So Wen Nuan stopped beating around the bush and asked, "How did you know I was on Lover's Island? And how did you know Jin Feng came looking for me?"
She actually had many questions, but asking too many at once would make it seem like she cared too much about the matter.
But that's the reality. Even if you decide to distance yourself from someone you deeply love, you can't help but want to keep an eye on them. It's a conditioned reflex that you can't help yourself to.
