Chapter 226 The Silence Skill of Planet B

After washing up, Qin Bai turned to the side in front of the mirror.

Perfect.

No wonder so many people like me; I feel like I'm almost one of them.

Wan Zhou frowned at his narcissistic appearance.

Has this adopted son been having a lot of romantic luck lately?

They say that if you're lucky in love, you'll be unlucky in gambling.

Or should we find an opportunity to give it a try?

"Qin Bai, your father wants to make a bet with you?"

"Excuse me, but my dad might already be on the verge of death. Are you sure you want to gamble with me?"

"Pah! Pah! Pah! I'm your godfather! What are you...?"

"Would you like to find a part-time job?"

Wanzhou was a little bewildered by this sudden question.

The surprise on his face slowly turned into delight.

"Godfather, please show me the way."

The change in identity can happen so quickly.

Don't blame Wanzhou for getting excited; who wouldn't want to do part-time jobs in college to earn money to buy skins?

He actually tried it, but unfortunately, it always ended in the same way.

He worked and started his business, but died before he could finish.

The main reason is that a full day's work isn't even enough for him to afford a meal outside.

Add in transportation costs, water bills, and a whole host of other expenses, and breaking even is considered a profit.

Employers outside the industry view college graduates as cheap labor and don't pay them much.

He managed to find a job that provided lunch, but Wanzhou was fired within two days.

He can eat the equivalent of eight people's food by himself; no one could stand that.

"How about you come and try my place sometime later?"

"Live stream?" Wan Zhou frowned slightly: "Brother, I can't break a boulder on my chest."

Qin Bai glanced at him: "Screw you, logistics!"

"Oh, okay, I can do that."

"Let's make it clear first, it's not much money, and I don't know how the live stream will go."

"Hehe, as long as meals are provided."

Qin Bai sighed inwardly, thinking that Lao Wan was still very ambitious, and the fact that he hadn't mentioned his salary was good proof of that.

He had actually thought about this for a long time, and he would definitely be doing outdoor live streaming in a while.

The benefits of doing so are certainly appealing to most people, but security issues have become a key concern.

If it were just me, everything would be fine, since I have two women with me.

Who knows, during the live stream, another drunk guy might suddenly rush out from the side.

Qin Bai felt very uncomfortable if he hired someone else, especially when he thought about how others would look at Chen Guaiguai and Feng Chacha.

Men are petty, higher animals. He used to scoff at this statement, but now he believes it.

She has even decided that in the future, when she does travel live streams, she won't need to show her face; she can just use her name and voice.

Qin Bai gave a self-deprecating laugh.

I never imagined I'd have such a day, becoming the kind of doting husband everyone talks about.

She's the kind of person who makes others feel uncomfortable for a long time just by looking at her.

He put on his coat and went outside.

Wanzhou shouted, "Where are you going?"

"fishing."

He left after uttering a nonsensical remark.

The sky was azure, a cold wind blew, and the glaring sunlight did little to ward off the chill.

People came and went on campus, but the warmth that should have arrived did not come; instead, it felt even more biting.

They pointed and whispered among themselves.

Qin Bai was already used to these things and didn't care.

If these words couldn't bring him peace, he would already have his own grave.

Thinking about it, it's not bad at all. At least I own a house now, saving me from taking decades of detours.

I walked slowly forward and found a classroom based on my memory.

I stood by the window and looked inside.

Dozens of little heads sat there in a neat row.

From Qin Bai's perspective, everyone's movements were clearly visible.

He nodded as if he understood.

It turns out that during high school, teachers were always NPCs with open eyes.

Those self-righteous, unknown little secrets have long been discovered by others.

There's only whether a teacher wants to manage something or not; it's not a matter of knowing or not knowing.

Someone noticed someone by the window and instinctively hid their phone. This action made Qin Bai laugh. Twelve years of schooling had instilled a sense of vigilance in him.

No matter the time, these shadowy figures peering out the window always invigorate people.

Qin Bai's gaze swept across the classroom, finally settling on a girl with a single ponytail.

A slight smile unconsciously appeared on his lips.

"Alright, that's all for today's lesson."

The teacher tidied up the textbooks and left the classroom.

Yu Xiaoyu sat in the second row on the side, behind her was Song Han, who had been chased and beaten by the security guards.

He was chatting animatedly with his classmate, recounting some of his family's glorious achievements, when his gaze kept drifting towards the girl in front of him.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the response I deserved.

Yu Xiaoyu rested her chin on her hand and looked out the window, her eyes filled with joy.

He seemed to be in a daze, lost in thought.

Qin Bai walked to the classroom door and softly called out, "Yu Xiaoyu."

The girl suddenly turned around, and after a few seconds of shock, her eyes turned into crescent shapes.

"Senior Qin Bai."

After she called out his name, the buzzing in the classroom subsided like the receding tide, and everyone's attention was drawn to the person outside the door.

"Isn't this Qin Bai? What brings him here?"

"Didn't you watch Teacher Luo's live stream yesterday? He even confessed his feelings."

"I heard that. Could the person he likes be Xiaoyu? Wow, that's so romantic."

Upon hearing these sounds, Song Han gritted his teeth, his face contorted in a grimace.

While Dumbfish was organizing his textbooks, he jumped out first.

What are you doing here?

Qin Bai looked him up and down, his eyes conveying a certain message.

Is this person an idiot?

Song Han felt greatly insulted, and his anger reached its peak.

"I'm asking you a question."

"Not only is he stupid, he's also deaf." Qin Bai put his hands in his pockets and shouted, "I'm looking for Yu Xiaoyu."

"Who gave you permission to see her? You're not welcome here, get out."

Qin Bai was stunned when he heard this.

Not only him, but everyone around him was also silenced by his words.

A few seconds later.

Qin Bai said with a smile, "Song Han, sometimes you really need to think things through."

"Is it your awesomeness that silences those around you, or is it your... 2B?"
