Chapter 55 Feng Yaoyao (1) Friends

My name is Feng Yaoyao, and I am five years old.

The peach tree is young and tender, its blossoms are bright and beautiful.

My mother said that when I was born, the area outside the hospital was full of peach blossoms, so that's why I was named that.

To other children, I am very happy.

She comes from a wealthy family, her parents love each other, and she dresses up like a little princess every day to go to kindergarten, which makes them all envious.

Of course, I think so too.

As far back as I can remember, my parents never seem to have ever argued.

Even if he's angry, Dad will come running over to him in no time.

"Jiang Rou, don't be angry. It's all my fault. You can scold me or hit me a few times if you want."

Whenever this happens, I can't help but secretly laugh.

My mother is just like her name suggests; she has a gentle and kind nature.

After her father coaxed her a few times, she covered her mouth and laughed.

After the rain stopped, the family became happy again.

One day, my father's friend came to visit, and he brought a very pretty little girl with him.

Of course, she's still a little short of me. After all, my mom always said I'm the most beautiful and adorable person in the world.

While the adults were eating, I kept staring at her.

It's strange, she seems very unhappy.

He didn't speak or laugh; he just sat there quietly, taking small bites of what was in his bowl.

My mother noticed my confusion and pointed to the little girl, saying, "Would you like to be friends with her?"

Perhaps it's because humans are powerless against beautiful things, I nodded vigorously.

My mother pulled me to the little girl's side.

"Why don't you introduce yourselves?"

The little girl tilted her head and looked at me expressionlessly.

"Hello, my name is Feng Yaoyao. Can we be friends?"

She said softly, "Shen Muyao."

Three simple words, but no follow-up.

"Why aren't you smiling? Don't you like it here?" I asked, voicing my doubts.

"Um?"

She seemed even more puzzled than I was, her big eyes blinking incessantly, like sparkling gems.

“You definitely don’t like it here. Come with me, I’ll take you to my secret base.”

Without saying a word, I dragged her to the room on the second floor.

Shen Muyao didn't struggle, she just let me pull her along.

The moment I pushed the door open and saw the shock in her eyes, I proudly put my hands on my hips.

Sure enough, no child could resist a room full of toys.

I picked up a doll and generously stuffed it into her arms.

"This is for you."

She quickly stuffed the doll back into my arms and then shook her head.

Why not?

"Dad won't allow it."

"But we're already friends. It's normal for friends to give each other gifts. You can give me gifts too."

"Friends?"

Shen Muyao seemed unfamiliar with this word.

She glanced at the doll with a hint of interest.

"Yes, we're already friends."

That day, we played in the secret base for a long time until the adults downstairs came up and took her away.

Later, I learned from my father that Shen Muyao's daily schedule was very full.

Piano, violin, calligraphy, dance, singing, etiquette... and so on, a whole host of courses await her.

It was from that time that I began to feel sorry for this friend.

No wonder she doesn't talk much; it turns out she doesn't have time to interact with others.

The next day when I went to kindergarten, I stared wide-eyed at the girl in the white dress who walked in.

"Shen Muyao?"

"Feng Yaoyao?"

Why are you here?

"Transfer schools."

The teacher introduced with a smile, "From now on, Shen Muyao will be our classmate in the middle class. Everyone must become good friends with her!"

I answered loudly, and even ran over to pull her to my seat.

"From now on, you'll be my deskmate. If anyone bullies you, tell me, and I'll protect you." I patted her on the shoulder.

"good."

From then on, we became inseparable best friends.

Gradually, she started talking more.

You can never see a smile on her face; she's like a little ice cube all day long.

"You should smile more, otherwise who would want to be your friend?"

I reached out and pinched her little face.

"Aren't you my friend?"

"But one friend isn't enough; you should find more friends."

After thinking for a while, Shen Muyao shook her head.

One is enough.

Later I learned some of the reasons.

In her old kindergarten, because of her personality, the other children thought she was pretentious.

So they were isolated. Children are the same; they don't understand anything about family background.

When someone says something bad about you, it spreads quickly, and people may even bully you.

When Uncle Shen found out, he was furious. After punishing those who bullied Shen Muyao, he transferred her to another school.

When I learned about this, I felt a little sad and secretly vowed that I would never let anyone bully her.

That's what I thought, and that's what I did.

No matter what, I always instinctively protect her behind me.

And so, we started elementary school.

Actually, she's not old enough; she's a year younger than me.

But with the adults at home arranging things, we ended up in the same class and even became deskmates.

The moment Shen Muyao saw me, her big eyes blinked rapidly.
