I threw her onto the bed in the bedroom, turned off the air conditioner, and covered her with a thin blanket.

You really shouldn't turn on the air conditioner after drinking too much, or you'll be in for a world of hurt the next day.

"Yaoyao, why did Shen Muyao personally come to see me to discuss the betrothal gifts?"

The effects of the alcohol were already building in his brain, and the best time to get the truth out of him was when he was half-asleep and half-awake.
