Good movies always touch people's hearts. When she saw that Murphy was the same age as her father Cooper, she almost cried along with him.
Because they had been lazing in bed, neither of them was particularly hungry, so Liang Zhirou simply cooked two dishes.
Lunch consisted of shredded green peppers and potatoes, along with stir-fried mixed vegetables. The portions weren't particularly large, just enough for two people.
Liang Zhirou's stir-fried mixed vegetables taste much better than those in restaurants outside. In a food desert like Hangzhou, it would be a complete stunner.
Chen Lu had just swallowed a few mouthfuls of rice when he heard the girl next to him sigh.
He turned his head to look at Liang Zhirou, who was resting her chin on her hands, and asked, "Why are you sighing?"
"Because school starts tomorrow," Liang Zhirou said, her eyes lowered.
Chen Lu couldn't help but chuckle. "Very good, you're already a mature college student."
Liang Zhirou, in the end, I led you down the path of depravity... ugh, the normal path, didn't I?
Students hating school is just as natural as office workers hating going to work.
For some reason, Chen Lu always felt a great sense of accomplishment.

Chen Lu said with a serious expression, "Keep drawing, I'm going out for a bit."
Where are you going?
"Go see Professor Yin."
Liang Zhirou found it strange, "Didn't you say you weren't expecting his help?"
"That's why I say you're stupid. You have no idea how much other people pay for legal advice from someone of this caliber. It might cost several times more per hour than one of your drawings."
Chen Lu walked to the sofa, picked up his coat, and gestured as if counting money.
"I'll see the old man for free."
