Liang Zhirou cooperated by standing on the steps and letting Chen Lu take pictures. When she saw Chen Lu make an OK sign, she took off her sunglasses and put them back in her bag.
The weather was great today, sunny and breezy, with high-flying clouds, but not particularly sunny, so I didn't need sunglasses.
It's likely that Chen Lu didn't really intend for her to wear it while hiking; he just wanted to take pictures.
This person likes to use her to create a real-life version of Miracle Nikki.
Chen Lu looked at the girl in the photo and couldn't help but smile.
Liang Zhirou doesn't seem silly at all, but she always reveals her silly nature to the fullest extent through the slightest words and actions.
For example, her current peace sign completely wipes away her original aloof temperament, making her look rather silly.
Even a blank expression and sunglasses can't save him.
"You're laughing at me again..." Liang Zhirou muttered softly. She turned her head to look at the side. The steps here were quite steep, and there were no railings on either side.
You can't bump into Chen Lu here, or he might roll all the way down, like a tumble.
"I'm laughing at how cute you are." Chen Lu smiled as he put away his DSLR camera. "My girlfriend is both sophisticated and sweet; I've hit the jackpot."
Liang Zhirou pulled her hat brim down a little, lowered her head, suppressed a laugh, and hummed softly before asking, "How long are we going to climb?"
"It'll probably take a few hours, we'll just have to climb slowly."
As Chen Lu spoke, he looked up at the distance. The surrounding mountains, large and small, stretched endlessly under the azure sky. He felt as if they hadn't even seen the face of Mount Tai yet.
This was his first time visiting this place, the legendary head of the Five Sacred Mountains.
This was the place most favored by ancient emperors for the Fengshan ceremony.
He ascended to the heavens to report, and descended to the earth to perform the rites.
It really does look quite tall...
Chen Lu quietly swallowed.
Don't exhaust yourself in front of this silly guy later, okay? That would be really embarrassing.
I have to hold on until Liang Zhirou complains of being tired first.
Although Master Chen is a national first-class mountaineer, he has actually only climbed mountains a few times in his life, not counting what happened last night...
Liang Zhirou followed his gaze, her mouth slightly agape, "So tall..."
In fact, the two of them couldn't see the whole picture at all, but looking at the distant mountain peaks, she couldn't help but sigh.
"Did your uncle come here back then?" Chen Lu suddenly remembered her father saying that you could see clouds on Mount Tai.
“I’ve been here before. I think he climbed up at night to catch the sunrise.” Liang Zhirou nodded gently and pointed to the distance. “There seems to be a cable car over there. If you get tired later, I’ll take you up in the cable car.”
Chen Lu: "??"
No, what do you mean by "wait until you get tired"? What do you mean by "I'll keep you company"? Who are you looking down on, you idiot?
"How tiring could it be?" Chen Lu said dismissively. "What decent person would take a cable car while climbing a mountain?"
"Exactly, then it would have been a wasted trip."
A passing boy smiled and chimed in, and Chen Lu nodded at him with a slight smile, as if to say hello.
"I said if..." Liang Zhirou muttered softly.
"There are no ifs."
Chen Lu said firmly.
......
Two hours later.
"Zhirou, let's take a break."
Chen Lu, holding his knees and panting heavily, waved to Liang Zhirou, who had just turned around.
At first it was fine, but after the first section, the steps became incredibly steep, and it took a lot of effort to take even one step.
But Liang Zhirou had inexhaustible energy, like a little calf, climbing very fast and pulling him to see the scenery every now and then, without taking a break the whole way.
This simpleton finds everything new and interesting, and always has a slight smile on his face.
If you didn't know better, you'd think they were elementary school students on a picnic.
"good."
Liang Zhirou rummaged through her bag and pulled out a pack of wet wipes. She wiped the large rock next to her and then made room for Chen Lu.
The two sat close together on a rock. A gentle breeze was blowing through the mountains, ruffling the girl's long hair and wiping away some of the sweat from Chen Lu's forehead.
Chen Lu was about to take a bottle of water out of his bag when he realized that the girl had already handed him a pre-wrapped bottle of mineral water.
He took it somewhat awkwardly, drank half the bottle in one gulp, and finally felt his sore throat return to normal.
"You seem to really like it here; we didn't come to the wrong place."
Liang Zhirou didn't choose to open another bottle. Instead, she took the bottle that Chen Lu had just drunk from and sipped it slowly, a stark contrast to Chen Lu's eagerness to chug it down.
"It's so much fun!" the girl said with a smile.
"No, how come you're not tired at all, you silly goose?" Chen Lu said, holding Liang Zhirou's delicate arm with one hand, quite puzzled.
Her arms and legs were so thin and delicate that it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call her the epitome of a delicate and supple woman. Before she could even complain of being tired, this big guy couldn't keep up.
"I'm tired."
As the girl spoke, she leaned into Chen Lu's arms, her whole body limp against him.
Chen Lu's lips twitched violently.
Liang Zhirou is a bit slow-witted, but she's definitely not as naive as he imagined.
This simpleton always acted like a delicate, easily pushed person in front of him, and he almost fooled her.
He almost forgot that this silly guy had once worn a mascot costume in a shopping mall. Those things were so heavy that you couldn't possibly wear them all day without some strength.
Oh no, this frog has learned military strategy!
Chen Lu blinked in disbelief, then silently unwrapped a piece of fructose and fed it to the girl.
