Chen Yunqi then noticed the crack on the screen and immediately realized what was happening. He quickly moved closer to the two of them and said, "Mom, I was wrong... I'll give you back all my allowance. You can use it to buy a new one."
Although buying this might cost him all the savings he had worked so hard to save, he still had to compensate his mother for the damage since she had made him cry.
As for the money for his date with his sister... he can just work at the coffee shop for a few more days.
"No, no need." Liang Zhirou wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. "You can spend the money yourself. Taking your girlfriend out to eat, shopping, and to the movies all cost money."
Just as Chen Yunqi was feeling very guilty, Liang Zhirou suddenly leaned her head on Chen Lu's shoulder and smiled faintly.
Chen Yunqi: "??"
Didn't his mother look like she was about to cry just a second ago?
"Mom, what are you laughing at all of a sudden?"
"I'm so happy that you're willing to use your allowance to buy such an expensive thing for Mom."
"It was your money to begin with..."
"Then I'm happy too." Liang Zhirou's smile remained sweet and lovely.
Chen Lu reached out and tucked a stray strand of hair behind Liang Zhirou's ear, chuckling, "You'll never meet a girl easier to coax than your mother."

Jiang Nan was invited to stay for lunch by Liang Zhirou. After helping to wash the dishes, she quickly dragged Chen Yunqi away.
The two walked together under the shade of the trees. Even though the sun couldn't reach them, she still felt her cheeks burning.

Jiang Nan grew angrier the more she thought about it. She turned around, leaned close to him, and pinched his cheek, her face flushed. "So you're scared now? Who was it that insisted on dragging me to your parents to show off just now?"
