When the two arrived, the store was still open, probably because of its good location, and there were still quite a few customers.
Holding hands, we walked in, where rows of electric vehicles of all styles were neatly arranged, a dazzling array.
Liang Zhirou was stunned. Her mouth was slightly open as she looked around. After a moment, she came to her senses and pursed her lips shyly.
A middle-aged man approached them, smiling broadly as he introduced them to various styles.
It has to be said that the designs of electric vehicles are now incredibly diverse, ranging from tall to short, fat to thin, and some are particularly simple and small, while others are so large they look like motorcycles.
Liang Zhirou immediately took a liking to a relatively small one.
"This one is 2299, but if you buy it now, it'll be 2200 for you," the man with sharp eyes immediately introduced.
Liang Zhirou listened quietly as he finished listing a whole bunch of advantages, then turned to look at Chen Lu, as if asking for his opinion.
How about this one?
"It's alright, as long as you like it." Chen Lu shrugged.
The couple exchanged a few words with their eyes. Liang Zhirou puffed out her cheeks and turned her head back to continue focusing intently on the electric scooter in front of her.
Two seconds later, she walked over to Chen Lu, took his hand, and then asked nervously, "Did you give me anything?"
The man paused for a moment, then said, "...Yes, I'll give you a helmet and an air pump, they're all a set."
Chen Lu was also stunned. He had been wondering why Liang Zhirou had suddenly come over and held his hand, but now he understood.
He's like a buff aura; it takes effect the moment you hold hands with him.
"Could you please bring an extra helmet? There are two of us." Liang Zhirou thought for a moment, then tightened her grip on Chen Lu's hand. Chen Lu vaguely noticed that the girl's palm was sweating. "Uncle, your business is so good, and you look so wealthy, you certainly don't need the money for one or two helmets..."
The man couldn't help but chuckle twice. "Alright, this girl is so pretty and speaks so sweetly, I'll give it to you! You can pick one you like later."
After laughing, he glanced at the female celebrity endorsement poster on his own advertising board and suddenly felt that the female celebrity wasn't so pretty anymore.
This young man is really lucky.
Chen Lu glanced blankly at Liang Zhirou. The girl was visibly nervous, and their arms were pressed tightly together, with her leaning all her weight on him.
He gently squeezed Liang Zhirou's hand and praised her for doing a good job.
How come this guy, who's usually so silly, is so clever when it comes to bargaining?
"There are still so many more. You can also ask the shop assistant to show you some other things." The man waved and called the shop assistant over, inviting her to take Liang Zhirou to browse around some more.
Chen Lu glanced around at the prices of other electric bikes, but didn't follow suit.
Rather than giving her the most expensive electric scooter, he knew exactly how to make his girlfriend happier.
"Uncle, is this all you give away? I saw my classmates get air fryers as a gift when they buy electric bikes." He said to the man, his gaze deliberately carrying a hint of foolishness.
Perhaps in Liang Zhirou's eyes, this middle-aged man could already be considered a good person.
If that's really the case, it just means she still has misunderstandings about the adult world.
After all, it was precisely because she chose the cheapest option that this person suggested she browse around some more.
The middle-aged man's lips twitched twice. "You've come here to buy goods? Judging by your appearance, you're not short of money!"
Chen Lu patted his pocket. "I'm just a recent college graduate. I don't have any spare money. I bought this electric scooter to pick up and drop off my girlfriend."
Before the man could speak, he quietly leaned closer, made a point of looking at the other customers around him, and whispered, "It's cheaper at Wanda Plaza. They just opened, and it seems to only cost 1899. But it's too far away, so I came here instead."
"If you give us more things, we can boost your sales figures. It's a win-win situation."
The man looked embarrassed.
So you two are teaming up to take advantage of deals, huh?
Good grief, he thought raising prices by 30% was already outrageous, but this kid was even more ruthless than him.
"You just graduated?"
“Yes.” Chen Lu nodded repeatedly. “I just graduated, and my girlfriend is still studying.”
"Are you in business?"
"How could that be? I'm just an intern, a regular employee."
The man lit a cigarette, took two puffs, and said, "Alright, I have an air fryer too."
While Liang Zhirou was choosing an electric scooter with the shop assistant, Chen Lu accompanied the middle-aged man, chatting about everything from current pork prices to the international situation, bragging for a long time and haggling for a long time.
Two men together can have so many things to talk about.
In the end, Liang Zhirou paid the bill.
Seeing the girl reluctantly take out her phone, the middle-aged man paused, then turned his gaze to Chen Lu.
If you're not buying, why are you standing here selling to me for so long?
Chen Lu shrugged helplessly, "She controls the finances."
Upon hearing this, the questioning look in the man's eyes gradually disappeared, quickly replaced by sympathy and empathy.
My girlfriend is beautiful, but she's so young and already henpecked; it's kind of pitiful.

The middle-aged man smiled and exhaled a smoke ring; the young man was quite the braggart.
