Chapter 90: Why is this couple all high on offense and low on defense?

Chen Lu sighed helplessly, "Alright, alright."

He slowly closed his eyes, and after everything went black, he felt inexplicably nervous.

How did the roles suddenly reverse? Why does dating feel like playing a turn-based game?

"Please don't open your eyes..." Liang Zhirou pleaded, her voice trembling.

"good."

Chen Lu responded softly, and then the surroundings fell silent. With his eyes closed, he could only hear the girl's continuous deep breathing.

I heard it very clearly.

She seems to be very nervous.

The midday sun shone through the windows in the corridor and fell on Chen Lu's face.

With tears welling up in her eyes, Liang Zhirou gazed at the handsome boy in front of her, trying her best to calm herself down.

Fortunately, Chen Lu really did as he promised her, closing his eyes and remaining motionless, without urging her or saying anything, leaving everything to her.

After an unknown amount of time, the girl finally made up her mind, only to discover a new problem.

Where should I kiss...?

"......"

Chen Lu squeezed his eyes shut again. For a moment, he felt that time was moving incredibly slowly, and he felt extremely insecure.

First, we don't know where this silly girl is going to kiss, and second, we don't know when she will kiss.

It could be in the next second, or it could be a long time later.

It felt a bit painful, but also a little bit stimulating.

He swore it was only a tiny bit.

Can't you just give me a straight answer already?

Is this the legendary idle gameplay?

He nervously swallowed, afraid that he might open his eyes without realizing it.

Just then, he suddenly felt a warm breath on his face, followed by the fragrance of the girl's hair.

Liang Zhirou's hair fell around his neck, brushing against his skin and making him feel ticklish.

Then, her soft lips gently landed on his neck...

It took two seconds before it was slowly moved away.

That small patch of skin immediately became moist and slightly cool.

Whether it was the girl's breath on his neck or the final kiss, it all made Chen Lu restless.

An indescribable, intense feeling of happiness spread from his neck to his heart, and finally throughout his entire body.

After recovering from the shock, he took several deep breaths before slowly asking, "Can I open my eyes now?"

"Can we wait a little longer?" Liang Zhirou asked, her voice sounding aggrieved.

Why?

"I'm nervous..." the girl muttered softly, "I'm not so nervous when you can't see me."

She felt incredibly embarrassed; her cheeks were burning hot, and she knew without a doubt that her face must be red.

"I was wrong, you're not a cow, you're an ostrich," Chen Lu said with a smile.

This silly guy isn't trying to prove his feelings at all; he just feels like Liang Zhirou is head over heels in love with him.

After all, it took immense courage for her to do such a thing.

His upturned lips haven't gone down since the beginning.

A few minutes later, after Chen Lu's earnest pleas, Liang Zhirou finally made him open his eyes.

He was a little disoriented when he was exposed to light again, but once his vision cleared, he saw that the girl's face was as red as a cherry tomato.

Although Chen Lu was used to this goofy guy launching a critical hit at the drop of a hat, he still felt his cheeks burning, so he decided to get his revenge.

"We agreed beforehand that we should reciprocate," he joked. "How about I kiss you back?"

Liang Zhirou leaned against the wall, lowered her head and muttered softly, "That was a promise between good friends, but now... now it doesn't count."

She always felt that what she said made her sound like a bad person.

"We're boyfriend and girlfriend now."

She muttered to herself while fiddling with her fingers, glancing furtively at the spot where she had just kissed someone to make sure there were no hickeys before she felt relieved.

So, a kiss doesn't necessarily leave a hickey...?

The girl thought to herself that she knew nothing about how strawberries were grown.

"You can kiss me, but I can't kiss you."

Chen Lu summarized softly, then couldn't help but chuckle, "Oh ho, whose female hooligan is this?"

Liang Zhirou felt very embarrassed by what was said, and could only lower her head deeply, saying in a wronged tone, "It's yours."

"......"

Chen Lu's smile suddenly froze.

He felt that if he really had a health bar, it would have been depleted in an instant.

Ultimately, his defenses were made of paper.

No matter how stubborn he tried to deny it, he had to admit that he had indeed "lost" today, and lost miserably.

I was actually made to have my heart race so many times by such a silly and naive person, and I couldn't even fight back.

While he was still in a daze, Liang Zhirou leaned closer and rested her forehead on his shoulder.

"I will get better and better." Although the girl's voice was soft, it was surprisingly firm.

Chen Lu turned his head to the side in a daze; from this angle, all he could see was the girl's long, beautiful hair.

That's too unfair.

Isn't kissing the neck even more exaggerated than kissing the forehead?

The phrase "getting better and better" had unconsciously become ambiguous in his mind.

Is it too much of a mood killer to be looking forward to this now?

It's amazing that a girl like this would become more and more proactive for me.

Chen Lu smiled and reached out to stroke the girl's head.

Take your time.

Upon hearing this, Liang Zhirou nodded gently and continued to nuzzle Chen Lu's shoulder like a kitten, feeling incredibly at ease.
