Before she could react, Chen Yunqi was already standing in front of her with a blank expression... Her silly little brother was now half a head taller than her.
Jiang Nan stared blankly at Chen Yunqi, but her eyes gradually brightened.
"Who... are you?" The boy paused, his expression turning somewhat fierce.
Under the questioning gaze of the other party, Chen Yunqi silently took Jiang Nan's hand, smiled to himself, and said to her, "I just made up a lie to run away. Let's sneak home together."

Chen Yunqi turned around, looking at the boy with a hint of helplessness, thinking to himself, "I've practically saved you, how can you be like this..."
Now look what happened! I thought I looked pretty handsome, but the atmosphere is completely ruined.
Chen Yunqi raised their clasped hands and said calmly, "As you can see."
"Is this your opinion?" the boy pointed at him angrily. "An ordinary person who has nothing to offer?"

The boy expressionlessly took out his car keys and pressed a button. A white Porsche 718 parked next to him responded with a click.

Then he took Jiang Nan and turned to leave without looking back.
The early summer night was already quite humid. The two walked quietly along the sidewalk for an unknown amount of time. They didn't know when it started, but their hands, which had initially been lightly clasped together, had quietly become intertwined.
Along the way, Chen Yunqi tried his best to pretend that he had just forgotten that he was still holding hands, while secretly savoring the feeling of holding hands with his sister.
It's like a dream.
He was already nervous, and now that he was doing something wrong by taking advantage of others, his heart was pounding so hard it was almost drowning out all the surrounding noise.
"Thank you," Jiang Nan said.
"Isn't it only right for a younger brother to help his older sister?"
Chen Yunqi gave a casual reply, and just as his gaze darted around guiltily, he suddenly heard a girl's soft, seductive voice:
"Is your hand soft, sister?"
The sound, mixed with the breath exhaled while speaking, blew into his ear, and the ticklish sensation made him shiver.
She turned her head, feeling both embarrassed and annoyed, only to see Jiang Nan retract her tiptoes and look at her with a gentle smile:
"Haven't you held hands enough yet?"
"I forgot!" Chen Yunqi was incredibly ashamed and wanted to let go, but suddenly his face stiffened—
My sister didn't loosen her grip.
"Why are you so nervous? Didn't we hold hands like this all the time when we were kids?"
Seeing that he wouldn't speak, Jiang Nan leaned closer with interest. "Hmm?"
"You said it yourself, it was when we were kids..." Chen Yunqi's voice was softer than a mosquito's buzz, completely lacking the domineering aura he had just exuded.
"What's the big deal? Isn't it normal for a sister and brother to hold hands? Or are you thinking about something else..."

On the taxi ride home, Chen Yunqi stared quietly out the window, his right hand clenching the air, feeling inexplicably as if a piece of his body was missing.
The night was exceptionally quiet, the surrounding streets were shimmering with neon lights, the barbecue stall owner's face was covered in grease, and the smoke from the burning charcoal was blown aside by a fan, all exuding the atmosphere of midsummer.
People's concept of youth has always been vague, but in a sense, his true youth has completely ended starting today.
With her older and younger sisters always by her side.
As his childhood flashed before his eyes, Chen Yun couldn't recall when his brother's heart had turned sour.
"How much did you drink?" Jiang Nan suddenly asked.
"I didn't dare drink much; I didn't feel comfortable letting someone else take you."
Jiang Nan gave a dazed laugh. "Very good, you've saved your leg."

After a moment of silence, just as Chen Yunqi was about to speak, the girl beside him suddenly rested her head on his shoulder.
He was startled. When he finally mustered the courage to turn his head to look, he found that the girl had her eyes closed and her body was rising and falling slowly with her breathing.
It seems she has already fallen asleep.
A few strands of long hair fell in front of him, and a few stray hairs, along with the girl's warm breath, landed on his neck, causing a ticklish sensation.
He could vaguely smell the girl's unique fragrance, which was distinctly different from the smell of alcohol and smelled very pleasant.
"Driver, please slow down..."
