The girl's words pierced Chen Lu's heart like an arrow, causing his heart to stop beating for a moment.

After replying to all the messages, he looked up at everyone and asked, "Have you decided what to eat? It's on me."
"With so many people, let's go get some stir-fried dishes," Lin Miaomiao suggested.
"Eat the expensive stuff!" Peng Leyun continued to egg them on.
Jiang Chao's lips practically curled into a wide smile, "Any price is fine!"
Just as Chen Lu was silently watching the group chatting and discussing where to eat, Liang Zhirou quietly leaned close to his ear and whispered, "I have to go teach Chen Mo tonight."
Her concern for Chen Mo's studies far exceeded the scope of what a tutor should be expected of.
If Liang Zhirou had a younger sister, she would only care about her this much.
"Teacher Liang, can you please not be so dedicated?" Chen Lu found it amusing and tapped her forehead with his index finger. "Do you want to stay with her or with me?"
