Back to the world?

Back to the world?

Leng Can was worried, always afraid that Ji Shufeng would play tricks on him, so he asked Cong Mo for a talisman to be cast on himself.

"Don't betray me suddenly!"

"You've already put on the talisman, so cold weapons can't penetrate you at all. What's the point of using tricks?"

"That's right." Leng Can cheered himself up, grabbing Cong Mo's arm and holding her close, throwing Ji Shufeng aside, "Xiao Mo, Xiao Mo, why can't you get out of this gloomy place? I'm hungry."

"Too many people are still alive. We can't leave until there are ten of us left." Cong Mo took out a pancake from the package and gave it to him, "Eat this first."

"Shaobing!" Leng Can curled his lips, "I want to eat roast chicken when we get out."

"Okay." Cong Mo had always been good-tempered to him under the guidance of his parents. It had become a habit. "I should get a monthly salary when I get to the mountain. I'll buy it for you then."

"Xiao Mo is the best." Leng Can was proud in his heart, feeling that his seduction skills had won the heart of Cong Mo.

Ji Shufeng got goosebumps when she saw the two of them being so affectionate.

"Hey." She quickly caught up with the two of them and walked to Cong Mo's side. "What are we going to do now?"

"Murder." Cong Mo said lightly.

Ji Shufeng twitched her lips, "Murder"

Cong Mo said, "There are still twelve people in the dense forest. Two of them are fighting, and the other one is weak and hiding where we are going. If we eliminate him, we will naturally enter the second level.

Ji Shufeng was shocked, "How do you know?"

Cong Mo produced a talisman and whispered a spell before covering her eyes. Ji Shufeng's vision instantly became clear. "What is this talisman?"

"I created it myself." Cong Mo interrupted her surprise. "Any talisman, when used, will consume our energy. Your energy is too weak, so this talisman won't last long."

"Where's mine? Where's mine?" Leng Can immediately became unhappy when he saw that he had fallen out of favor.

Cong Mo said calmly, "You have no heart to seek the Tao, and you have no energy in your body, so you can't use this talisman."

Leng Can: "..., Xiaomo, are you saying I'm weak?"

"Yes." Cong Mo nodded, his expression still cold. "You shouldn't have come."

Leng Can curled his lips, "I'm angry, Xiaomo."

"Why are you angry?" Cong Mo frowned and looked at him in confusion.

Leng Can turned his head away, took a big bite of the pancake, shook off her arm and walked forward, "Xiao Mo, you bad boy."

Cong Mo scratched his hair and looked at Leng Can's back in confusion.

In fact, she never understood when Leng Can was angry since he was a child.

Her parents told her that Leng Can was the son of a landlord in the town and came from a wealthy and prominent family. If they wanted to live in this village, they could not offend his family, so Cong Mo stayed as far away from Leng Can as possible since she was a child, but Leng Can was very interested in her.

When the children gathered together to dig mud, they insisted on going with her. When they didn't dig as much mud as her, they started crying. When they went to the fields to harvest wheat, Leng Can didn't harvest at his own home, but insisted on going to her house to harvest with her. When he didn't harvest as much mud as her, he started to be unhappy and cried in grievance.

In class, if the teacher asked Cong Mo a question but didn't ask him, he would get furious and cry in class, so much so that the teacher rarely called on Cong Mo to answer questions. Even when they were intentionally seated separately during tests, Leng Can insisted on sitting next to Cong Mo. When the results came out and Cong Mo scored higher than him, Leng Can would skip meals for the entire day and stay indoors reading and learning characters.

Cong Mo's parents stopped her from going to school and asked her to stay at home to study. However, Leng Can also refused to go and insisted that Cong Mo go first. This went on until Leng Can's father came to propose marriage.

Cong Mo's parents refused and told him about their daughter's ambitions and that it was impossible for her to be with Leng Can, but Leng Can's father insisted on pestering him and even threatened him.

This was the wish that Cong Mo's parents had placed on her since she was a child, and it was impossible for them to give up easily. Without Leng Can's family knowing, they sent her out of the village the next day to find Wuqing Road. Even now, Leng Can still caught up with her.

The ruthless path is the one she must pursue. She cannot understand Leng Can's thoughts. She couldn't do it when she was a child, and it's still difficult now. She doesn't know why Leng Can is happy or unhappy.

"Aren't you going to chase them?" Ji Shufeng raised an eyebrow. "It's so dangerous here. It won't be good if you run away."

"It's okay." Cong Mo showed her the invisible golden rope on his wrist. "He can't lose it. Besides, he's very timid. If he gets scared, he'll come back on his own."

Ji Shufeng shrugged, "How can you be so powerful, but you are just a man without any spiritual power..."

She searched for a long time in her mind before finding a suitable adjective, "Let's go to the immortal mountain to seek the truth together."

"I didn't intend to go with him, but he wanted to be with me, so I couldn't just ignore him." The golden rope sensed a subtle murderous aura, and Cong Mo pulled Ji Shufeng forward quickly. "Besides, he's not completely without spiritual power, he just needs to learn, and he's a bit spoiled."

Leng Can kept muttering about Cong Mo's faults, always belittling him for this and that. He had obviously tried very hard but could not catch up with her. He was not proficient in reading, writing, painting, poetry, Taoism or martial arts. That was why he found such an shady way to destroy the ruthless path she was pursuing, and she still said this to him.

The more Leng Can thought about it, the more aggrieved he felt. He shed two tears. He wiped away his tears and took another bite of the pancake. "Xiao Mo, you bastard! You didn't even try to comfort me when I was angry. Never again..."

"Don't want what?"

The sudden sound exploded in the quiet and gloomy forest.

Leng Can was so frightened that he shuddered and his pancake slipped to the ground. The misty green trees made it difficult for him to see his surroundings. He timidly called out, "Who, who's talking?"

Leng Can now remembered Cong Mo's kindness. He waved his knife non-stop, glancing around and encouraging himself, "Come out! If you have the ability, fight openly. Hiding is nothing! Come out!"

"Okay!" A clear young voice came into my ears.

Leng Can shuddered, feeling a rush of heat on the back of his neck. He subconsciously turned around, and a slap in the face suddenly appeared before his eyes.

"Oh... Mom..." Leng Can screamed in fear, waving his knife around and backing away in panic. He tripped over a small stone and fell hard. He squatted on his buttocks, his face grimacing in pain, but he didn't forget to scare the other person, "You, don't come over here, I, I'm very powerful, if you don't want to die, leave!"

The young man walked towards him slowly, kicked the knife out of his hand, slowly squatted down, pinched Leng Can's chin and forced him to look up, "You are really beautiful!"

"What do you want to do?" Leng Can was crying and staring at him in fear. "I, I don't like men."

The boy rolled his eyes. "What are you talking about? I don't like it either, but I like sisters! For example, the sister next to you just now."

Leng Can's eyes widened, "You like Xiaomo"

"So you're called Sister Mo."

"You can't yell that!" Leng Can mustered up the courage he rarely dared to. He roared, pushed him aside, stood up, and leaned against a tree to steady himself. He raised his hand and pointed at him, "Xiao Mo is mine."

"Who said that?" the young man gnawed his sharp teeth. "How can a loser like you be worthy of following such an outstanding sister?"

"I'm not useless." Leng Can said loudly, "I'm just not as good as Cong Mo, but I'm not bad either!"

"Really?" The young man drew the whip from his waist and assumed a fighting stance. His black electric skin seemed to connect to the lightning in the sky, instantly flashing with a dazzling light. "Then let's have a competition!"

"Come on!" Leng Can was furious. He didn't care that he was just a weak scholar. He was not afraid at all. He stepped back with his right leg, touched the ground with his toes, and took a sprinting posture. He screamed and ran forward, "Ahh..."

The moment the whip and the □□ collided, lightning exploded and a soft yellow light burst out from it, causing a huge storm and howling winds in the area.

Cong Mo felt something was wrong and ignored Ji Shufeng who was running breathlessly behind him. He stuck two more talismans on his calves and ran towards the light at a rapid speed.

The light lasted for a while, and then peace returned after a while.

Leng Can stood where he was, slowly opened his eyes, and felt around himself. He was unharmed, except for the yellow talisman that was stuck in front of him, which had turned to ashes and mud, with some of it sticking to his shoes.

The young man who had been shouting just now fell peacefully at his feet, and his shallow breathing showed that he was sleeping.

sleep?

Leng Can: "..."

Was he dreaming about the battle just now?

So when Cong Mo rushed over desperately, he saw Leng Can trying his best to tie the boy to a tree.

"Xiao Mo, come here." Leng Can was quite happy to see her. He wiped the sweat from his forehead, his eyes curved, his eyelashes curled long, and his cheeks puffed up. He looked at her with a smile, "Hehe, I won, Xiao Mo, I won, I'm not a loser."

Like a kitten seeking credit.

Cong Mo pulled out a talisman and chanted, "Black words, bind."

A talisman turned into black characters and tied up the young man tightly on behalf of Leng Can.

Leng Can quickly ran to her side. Although he was half a head taller than her, he still bent down to hug her, burying his head in the crook of her neck. "Xiao Mo, you're too slow. I was so scared."

Cong Mo was feeling strange, so she hugged him back and patted his back gently, "Who said you were a waste?"

"It's him!" Leng Can pointed at the sleeping boy with grievance, and pitifully sought comfort from Cong Mo. "Although I defeated him with the power of the talisman you gave me, I didn't retreat and bravely rushed forward."

"Yeah, very brave." Cong Mo gently rubbed his head. With his other hand, he directed the black characters to form a thin rope and tied it around the boy's neck, tightening it into the flesh and leaving a few blood marks. "Avenge Xiaocan, okay?"

"How to take revenge?" Leng Can blinked his big eyes and asked naively.

"Of course I killed him..."

A burst of strong light passed by, drowning the remaining words into the air. Cong Mo covered Leng Can's eyes to prevent them from being irritated by the strong light. The world was split into two halves in an instant, and everything was brand new.

When I opened my eyes again, I saw a warm town in front of me, and the ten survivors were standing together.

The young man woke up and sat at Cong Mo's feet, tied up with black characters.

Ji Shufeng stood beside her in a trance, watching all this, "This is the second floor, so warm"

"No." Cong Mo shook his head and let go of Leng Can. "This is a fantasy."
