Eating hot pot and arm wrestling

Eating hot pot and arm wrestling

The winter day at Wuqing Mountain was particularly lively because of their arrival. Before the magic competition began, Elder Qingyi went to the human world to purchase a series of tableware and ingredients, piling up a large table. "Today, we're having hot pot."

Yanhuo and Muxue also joined in. Everyone gathered together and watched Leng Can fiddling with these things.

He was the only one who had eaten it, and the old man only knew about it. He had wanted to try it for a long time, but never found the opportunity.

"Do you really know how to do it?"

"Of course." Leng Can lit a fire under the pot, watched the water bubble up, and then put the meat in. "I used to eat it often. The meat was cooked in the pot. When it was cooked through and changed color, you could pick it out and put it in your mouth. It was soft and tender. Dipping it in the sauce that Master bought added more flavor and made it even more delicious. You can never get tired of it. Xiaomo, didn't I make it for you?"

"I have no recollection." Cong Mo sniffed the aroma of cooked meat and swallowed his saliva. "When did you make it for me?"

"When I was little, I often... Brother, the meat isn't cooked yet, why are you so anxious..."

He pursed his lips and said, "I'm hungry. I haven't tried this new thing yet."

Leng Can sighed and glanced around, realizing that except for him, everyone else was drooling. "Just a little longer. Don't worry. Eating uncooked meat will make you sick."

Several people stared at the bubbling pot, waiting for the meat inside to be cooked.

The meal was lively with everyone fighting over food. In the end, only half a potato was left of the ingredients. Cong Mo hadn't stopped eating yet and put the potato into the pot, intending to finish the meal. Leng Can burped, fed Hei Yu some meat, and gave Miao Ya some sweet water.

She leaned on his shoulder, unable to open her eyes. "Junior brother, this is so delicious, you are amazing."

"Is it impressive?" Leng Can was delighted by the compliment. "I'll take you on a tour of the human world later. There are so many beautiful places and delicious food."

"Really?" He was full of curiosity and interest in the human world and was looking forward to his adventures there. "Then I'll save up some more money and have a great time."

"Well, I'll take you to climb mountains and catch fish then..." Leng Can was very excited and shared his knowledge with him.

"You might have to go to the back row." After the old man had rested and recovered, he raised his arm and put it on Xi's shoulder. "I have to take Xi with me."

"Where is Master taking Brother?"

"I've had a plan long ago." The old man's cheeks flushed as he shared his thoughts with Leng Can. "Once Cong Mo has completed his cultivation and taken over Wuqing Mountain, I won't have to guard it all the time. The sword spirit that belongs to me, Qi, will naturally follow me. Then I'll take Qi with me to travel the human world, doing good deeds and enjoying the scenery. I won't be bored here on Wuqing Mountain anymore."

"What about me?" Leng Can was quite dissatisfied.

"Follow me." Cong Mo drank the last sip of the sweet tea in his cup. "Guard Wuqing Mountain and the Wuqing Road."

"That's fine." Leng Can didn't argue anymore. He smiled and tried to get close to her, but Cong Mo slapped him away. "It's time to rest. The competition starts tomorrow. You can't sleep late tonight. You need to keep your energy up."

She took the initiative to stand up and clean up the mess. Elder Qingyi and Yi also came to help. Leng Can sat on the side and watched them. Just as he was about to stand up, Elder Qingyi pushed him down. "Just sit down. After all, you're the one who took care of the meal the most."

Leng Can slowly sat back, smacked his lips, and asked Cong Mo for a candy.

When they came back after cleaning up the mess, Yanhuo and Muxue had already fallen asleep together, and Leng Can was also leaning against a pillar with his eyes closed.

Cong Mo covered him with a fox fur coat, then carried him on her back, put away Yan Huo and Mu Xue, and returned to the sword. The black cat and Miao Ya had already fallen asleep in the corner. She sympathized with the old man, said hello to Xi, and left.

When I left the house, the snow was still falling, and large flakes of snow fell on my hair.

Leng Can suddenly stretched out his arms and hugged her neck, whispering in her ear, "Xiao Mo, last time was an accident. Can I still stay on the mountain this time?"

"I don't know." Nothing is certain, Cong Mo cannot guarantee whether the result will be good or bad.

"Yeah." Leng Can nodded and stopped talking.

The two of them, each with their own thoughts, turned back along the path. Passing by the yard, there was the snowman they had just built that was smashed. Leng Can felt reluctant to leave. "This is good, Master. Both my brother and I are doing well."

"Yeah, that's good."

"Put me down. I want to see the snow."

"It's very cold." Cong Mo disagreed.

Leng Can slammed his head on her shoulder, "Please."

There was a faint sound of sobbing,

Cong Mo sighed. She never knew why a person could have so many tears that could never stop flowing.

Why was Leng Can crying? She was like a poor puppy that had been caught in the rain and couldn't find a place to hide. But she had obviously done nothing and had not deprived the puppy of its warm nest.

She held his legs and slowly lowered him down. "Keep your feet on the ground while I get a mat. The ground is cold."

"Yeah." Leng Can stood there obediently wiping his eyes, his cheeks flushed as he watched her enter the house, forming a sharp contrast with the white snow outside the eaves.

"Sit down." Cong Mo quickly brought a soft cushion and a straw mat, first placing the straw mat on the ground, then the soft cushion on top of it. "I've used my spiritual power to warm it up."

Leng Can raised his butt and sat on it. It was soft and warm. He propped up his head and looked at the silent white snow in the world. "Don't you want to sit?"

"No." Cong Mo patted his head gently, "I'm going back to sleep, you see."

""

Leng Can hurriedly grabbed her hand and asked, "Are you just leaving like this?"

Cong Mo looked down at him and said, "I'm not interested in the snowy scenery. Besides, I have a competition tomorrow and I need enough sleep."

"So you don't want me anymore?"

"..., there doesn't seem to be a parallel relationship between the two." Cong Mo said puzzledly, "Enjoying the scenery with you and sleeping with me are two different things."

"But if you go back to the room now, you won't be able to accompany me." Leng Can unconsciously pouted, blinked, and acted coquettishly with her, holding her hand and shaking it non-stop. From Cong Mo's perspective, his eyes, which had just been crying, were still wet with tears, and they looked aggrieved. "Can't you make an exception today? Not just this once?"

Cong Mo hesitated about his decision, "This..."

"Just once." Leng Can immediately seized the opportunity, "Just for a little while. You know, I'm in a bad mood. I'm afraid it would be even more sad if I were the only one watching the snow."

"You're already a grown-up."

"Can't adults be sad?"

"…Can."

"So can you stay with me?"

"…good."

Cong Mo went back into the house and got himself a cushion and fox fur, then sat down next to Leng Can and put an extra layer on him.

Leng Can wrapped himself tighter and put his head on her shoulder.

The two of them were covered by the beautiful snow from heaven and earth, wrapped in the cold, and snuggled up to each other.

Cong Mo quickly began to nod. Sleepiness invaded her brain, forcing her to be unable to stay awake. Leng Can was by her side, so she didn't need to be too cautious.

After a while, his head fell on Leng Can's head and he fell asleep.

Leng Can slowly lifted her head, stood up, and helped her lean on his shoulder. He raised his hand and touched the tip of her nose. "Sleepyhead, you're sleeping so soundly."

"Don't worry about me..."

"You didn't even ask me if I was crying."

"What do you take me for?"

He kept mumbling to himself for a long time, and finally picked up Cong Mo horizontally and covered her with his fox fur coat.

"Cong Mo, I'm going down the mountain."

"You must not forget me."

On the second day, the Shushan Competition began.

The old man took them to Shushan.

Ji Shufeng and Yin Yi did not practice magic and did not participate in the battle of magic. Here they met Xi Chengming.

Xi Chengming was talking to his fellow apprentice beside him when he saw them running towards him.

"You guys came pretty early!"

"This is a competition, can't you come earlier?" Leng Can rolled his eyes at him, "Are you as careless as me?"

"Leng Can, you..."

"What about me? A little bit..."

The two of them were bickering and fighting, which made the scene quite lively.

An old man named Qingyi entered the hall to meet the elders, but he was guarding Wuqing Mountain and did not come with them.

"Stop arguing." Cong Mo stopped the two from arguing and pulled Leng Can over. "Save your energy for the competition."

"Tsk..." Xi Chengming raised his arm confidently, clenched his fist, and showed Cong Mo the results of his recent exercise. "Look at my arm, it must have taken me a long time to train."

No man would dislike solid muscles. Leng Can's eyes lit up when he saw them. He touched them carefully. It was completely different from the provocative and spoiled look he had just shown when fighting with him. "You're so strong! How did you train? Aren't you practicing magic? How did you train yourself to be as strong as a bull?"

"Sigh... that's a really bad description." Even so, Xi Chengming couldn't suppress the smile that spread across his face when he heard someone complimenting his muscles. "Of course I make time to exercise. Everyone has their own aspirations. Leng Can, you should learn from me."

"I..." Leng Can pinched the soft flesh on the inside of his arm, then pinched Xi Chengming's hard arm flesh, pursed his lips, said nothing, turned his head to look at Cong Mo, his wet eyes contained an emotion that Cong Mo could not understand, but inexplicably disliked.

Cong Mo sighed helplessly, grabbed his hand and pulled it behind him, then took the initiative to put his hand on Xi Chengming's arm. "Indeed...it feels very hard."

"Really?" Xi Chengming blushed when he heard her praise, his ears reddened, and he scratched his hair in embarrassment. "Well... I think so too, that..."

"But strength is not necessarily the same."

"How about we have a competition?"

Cong Mo raised her eyes to look at him, revealing a rare faint smile, with her pretty lips curved up, making her cold and ruthless face have some warmth. The spring breeze blew on her face, and Xi Chengming was so fascinated that he opened his mouth, confused and unable to speak.

"How about arm wrestling? It doesn't waste time and it's very simple." Cong Mo asked.

"Okay, okay..." Xi Chengming felt quite uncomfortable, "You, me, but you're so thin..."

He was completely bewitched by Cong Mo's appearance and had forgotten her extraordinary powers.

"I'm just thin." Cong Mo pointed to a pavilion not far away, "Let's go there."
