Blore and his companions felt bewildered as they looked at the giant red lotus in the sky.
After the initial shock, Mu Yunchu completely collapsed to the ground, tears streaming down his face.
Above the ruins, all the illusions have turned into colorful fragments under the sunlight. White light exploded from the sky, and countless fireworks burst out as the halo flowed.
A group of people appeared under the giant tree and above the insect nest.
While Blore was fainting, he felt as if he saw countless sceneries, and a person, no, he didn't know what it was, soaring into the sky.
He couldn't control himself anymore. Out of the corner of his eye he saw ferocious dragon claws moving through the floating green and red.
He heard someone laughing heartily in his head
"It's so refreshing! I never thought I could travel back to the sky like this again."
The voice was low and rich, but surprisingly gave people a relaxed feeling.
"Who are you?" Blore thought the other party couldn't hear him at all.
"Thank you, my friend. I don't need to reveal my identity, but your character is such that if I were still alive, I would definitely drink with you and not leave until we are drunk."
"Ah, um, um, is my eyesight also due to you?" Blore was a little confused. He could have talked about a lot of things, but he just blurted out what was in his mind.
"Well, there's no need to worry too much. Although Hermes' child, Mu Yunchu, did use some less than righteous things, I think as long as the goal can be achieved and casualties are minimized, it's not a bad idea."
When Mu Yunchu was mentioned, Blore immediately became excited.
"What on earth does my sister want to do?"
Above the night sky of the forest, the huge red lotus flower lingered for a long time. The fireworks exploding around it also illuminated the world as if it were daytime, even with mist and flowing jade, giving people a feeling that it was dawn.
The voice did not answer Blore's question. Instead, it sighed and said, "My time is short. I hope to enjoy this beautiful night with you." Then it fell silent.
But it didn't take long before the red heavy lotus began to disintegrate and began to entangle and separate from the floating clouds around it.
Even divine beasts have a limit to their lifespan. These words suddenly appeared in Blore's mind.
Before he could figure it out, more things emerged in his mind.
Born on wasteland, it dissolved into the earth at the end of its lifespan, resting in the forest it had nurtured with its life. A hundred years later, unexpectedly, the forest granted it a second life. Because its bones still existed, the forest recast its dragon tendons and covered it with flesh and blood.
However, due to the increasing pollution, he should have lived as long as the forest. However, in order to protect this land, coupled with the continuous decline of his abilities, he understood that times have begun to change. No matter how big his body is, it is impossible for him to cover the entire land and monitor every corner.
But now that he can no longer do what the forest originally expected of him, it's time to make a decision and let the creatures that cover every piece of land protect this place.
The Zerg is its final choice. He chooses to give this race the supreme glory to protect every blade of grass and every tree in this forest.
But it still doesn't work, because it's missing a "leading point".
Perhaps it was fate that helped it discover Hermes, the alchemist who was crazy about women, in the forest. It immediately thought of it and later on, this matter was a happy one for both them, the man and the beast.
So he made a contract with a human to exchange his lifespan. He should not have existed in this world a long time ago. It was the forest that chose him.
Let another human being take on the responsibility of protecting the forest for the eternity. Let the human being who has caused harm to the forest take on the responsibility of protecting the forest.
But the only thing that was changed was lifespan, which neither the man nor the beast had expected.
His tremendous mental strength, his gradually decaying flesh and blood body, and his God-given abilities, were not transformed.
Although it succeeded in the end, it did not completely meet people's expectations, and mankind also suffered an irreversible reversal. Perhaps this is the price of replacing him. There is no other way.
It used its vast mental power to construct several worlds, pulling out every bone in its body to support the illusion.
In the tentacle swamp, he buried all his flesh and blood in the ugly tentacles to purify the waste that was recklessly discharged into the forest.
In the gray sky, he injected his soul into the endless garbage and waste, and transformed them over and over again. Finally, he let them return to the forest and become endless secret treasures.
In the Golden Forest, it left its eyes there and carried out large-scale expulsion and purification, so it was not suitable for people to stay there at all. With large-scale killings, no one could survive.
In the unknown Black Mountain, all the scales and skin armor fell off and piled up in the original place. The Black Mountain thus appeared out of thin air, and all kinds of deadly diseases were sealed here for a long time, never seeing the light of day.
However, it also underwent some irreversible changes due to the conversion of its lifespan, and the turmoil of its mental power was one of these changes. This caused many illusions to deviate, and it began to strangle foreign creatures. Although it treated forest waste equally, its efficiency was much lower.
So Mu Yunchu added her own mental power to expand it, but because of her joining, some illusions gradually changed and even affected his soul.
She didn't have many options, so she had to seek help from more explorers and spirit builders, but unfortunately it was of little use.
