Yet, amidst that icy landscape, a figure descended like a god. His figure was tall and imposing, seemingly fused with the glacier. The wind whipped his long, snow-white hair, dancing freely in the breeze, and his fluttering clothes only served to highlight his otherworldly demeanor.
His eyes were as calm as water, neither sad nor happy, yet seemed to contain endless wisdom and power. He stared quietly into the distance, as if thinking about something.
Suddenly, he moved. His steps were light and steady, leaving a trail of deep footprints on the glacier. He walked toward the horizon, his figure gradually disappearing into the vast snow and wind.
After he left, the glacier returned to its former tranquility, as if nothing had happened, with only a series of footprints as proof of his presence.
The illusion vanished like a bubble, and upon the mushroom-shaped stone pillar, three figures had silently appeared, each occupying a corner, emitting a suffocating sense of oppression. Blore and the others stood at the center of the stone pillar, the atmosphere tense and undercurrent surging.
Lou Xun had a splitting headache, having just experienced a long nightmare. Strange images kept flashing through his mind. He felt an inexplicable force surge into his heart, his body trembling slightly, and everything in front of him became blurry.
Bai Di's figure surfaced in his memories, a special connection to him. The feeling of an unbreakable cage and endless dreams filled him with fear. Although he didn't understand why he felt so strongly about coming to this place, Lou Xun tried to remain calm and try to understand it all.
When he slowly opened his eyes, he found himself trapped in a transparent barrier, unable to escape. He looked around and saw two other people trapped in a similar barrier. One of them looked very similar to He Huanping, while the other man looked very strange.
The man's eyes were empty, yet he would occasionally glance at Bai Di's masked friend, as if familiar with him. However, the masked man didn't return his gaze, merely glancing briefly before paying no attention. This subtle interaction was puzzling, as if it concealed a hidden past.
A large mass of soft, golden mycelium, each distinctly rooted, slowly crawled up from beneath the stone pillar, stopping at the last corner. A woman's figure slowly emerged. Her body was composed of mycelium, its golden lines interwoven to form a beautiful yet mysterious pattern. Her face was blurred, but her posture conveyed a sense of elegance and nobility.
The woman stood there quietly, seemingly waiting for something. Suddenly, her body began to tremble, and the golden mycelium began to shimmer. As the light intensified, the woman's body gradually became transparent, eventually disappearing into thin air. Only the golden mycelium remained, continuing to wriggle beneath the stone pillar.
He Huanping looked at them blankly, then lifted up the brim of his hat. Bai Di and Lu'e had already stood up, their expressions not looking very good.
Jiu Yizhi and Xian Kelai were also a little confused at the moment, while Nansong and Lu Nanyao were sitting casually on a stone bench outside, surrounded by black-armored soldiers guarding them. Although the eldest prince Lou Xun had lost his memory, his knowledge and ability here were still superior to the two of them, and it was no problem for him to use his mental power to trap the two of them.
Nan Song is very familiar with the method of using mental power. It is Bai Di's most skilled and complex mental power. Although the two can force a breakthrough, the final result is unpredictable. This is the terrifying thing about the use of this mental power.
So the two of them could only secretly hope that those idiots could come out safely.
However, the situation within the stone forest was puzzling. A continuous roar and the sound of flowing liquid echoed, as if the entire carriage was about to be torn apart. The sound resounded through the sky, deafening, but puzzlingly, it seemed to be confined to the interior of the carriage, unaffected by the outside world. The black-armored soldiers showed no reaction. Like robots, their eyes were glazed, their bodies mechanically turning, they remained at their posts, guarding the monstrous armored vehicle. They counted the number of people and kept a close watch on Nansong and the other man.
Nansong and Lu Nanyao sat quietly in the woods when suddenly they heard the whistling sound of the wind, which grew louder and louder, like the roar of nature. The wind rustled the leaves, as if playing a passionate symphony. She looked up, and all she saw were flying green leaves, dancing in the air like green elves.
Both were baffled, bored, feeling the power of nature, when suddenly an inexplicable excitement welled up in their hearts. They exchanged glances, and Nansong stood up, arms outstretched, as if wanting to embrace this powerful force of nature. The wind whistled in his ears, ruffling her hair, but she paid no mind. She closed her eyes, listening to the wind's sound, feeling its caress.
In this fierce wind, Nansong felt as if she had become one with nature. She felt the greatness and mystery of nature, but also felt her own insignificance and fragility.
The wind gradually died down, the leaves slowly fell, and everything returned to calm. Nansong slowly opened her eyes and looked at everything around her, her heart filled with emotion. She had never imagined she would come to such a place. The scenery here was breathtakingly beautiful, and she couldn't help but be intoxicated by it.
Yet, in that instant, all the scenery and people shattered like broken glass. The previously tranquil lake surface began to ripple, and a golden liquid emerged, like a giant mirror, merging the sky and water into one, forming a stunning painting of water and sky.
