Bai Di just listened quietly to Lou Xun's slowly composing words, taking in everything he said without any expression. Lou Xun hurried to the bedside and held the old man's hand.
"Your Majesty, I am here," he said softly.
The old man nodded slightly, with a hint of relief and a hint of obscurity in his eyes.

Lou Xun held the old man's hand tightly and nodded to show that he understood.
