Chapter 116: Changes and the White-Red Demon Bug

But at the same time, a strange thought suddenly popped up in his mind: Why can he see these invisible things? Could these invisible things in nature also be tangible?

Of course, those things couldn't respond to his questions at all.

At the same moment, Blore felt a fragrant breeze envelop him, and the soft petals finally became tangible. Mist and fragrance began to swirl and swirl, like a gorgeous dance. The glass beneath him finally gave way and shattered. In that brief moment, Blore saw only a huge eye below him, its whites golden, its blacks silver-gray, like a mysterious gem.

Before my eyes, a gigantic flower blooms, its petals cascading in layers, its color gradating from snow-blue to lotus-colored. Its shape resembles a phoenix-tail skirt, yet it seems to float lightly on the clouds in the sky. This flower exudes an enchanting light that captivates me.

But soon, Blore opened his eyes again.

But this time, he was lying on a bed, with a large branch of flowers peeking in from the narrow and somewhat drafty window, and on the windowsill stood an exquisite tower carved and decorated with red agate and red coral.

Too normal! Too abnormal!

"I've heard that people always have ups and downs in their lives, but why are we always falling?" Ma Tuan weakly patted the dust and the corpses of unknown flying insects on his clothes. After finding that it was of little use, he finally decided to give up. He simply lay down on the ground without caring whether his legs were soft or not, regardless of whether the ground was dirty or not.

"I can't take it anymore, ah... You two can do whatever you want, just abandon me like this..." Ma Tuan said as he turned over without any image, with the masked side facing the gray earth, and then he didn't move.

"What should we do?" Nan Song signaled Bai Di with his eyes to sit for a while.

Bai Di didn't say anything. He silently chose a cleaner place to sit down, and then he didn't move.

Seeing the two of them like this, Nan Song felt inexplicably funny. Ma Tuan would lie down by herself when she was tired, but Bai Di was probably waiting for her to say this.

Gray fog spread like a tide, enveloping the entire world like a vast gray curtain. Hidden within this mist seemed countless pairs of malicious eyes, staring intently at the three of them like hungry wolves. These eyes gleamed with greed and evil, sending a chill down their spines. This was clearly not a safe place to rest, fraught with unknown dangers.

Dark shadows often appear and disappear, like ghosts moving through the fog, making them elusive. Sometimes, they suddenly appear next to you and then disappear just as quickly; sometimes, they flash through the distant fog, leaving behind a terrifying black trail. The appearance of these shadows is always accompanied by a chilling fear.

Nansong felt a sudden surge of anxiety. She yanked Ma Tuan up from the ground. The three of them quickly formed a circle, back to back, and watched their surroundings warily. The fog grew thicker, blurring their vision. They could only rely on sound and feel to determine their surroundings.

Suddenly, a chill wind whistled past, carrying with it a pungent smell. The three men's hearts tightened, knowing danger was imminent. They gripped their weapons tightly, ready to face the unknown challenge.

From the depths of the fog, a deep, ferocious roar echoed. Like muffled thunder, it made the ears ring. As the roar grew closer, it felt as if a gigantic creature were approaching them.

The creature slowly approached them, but at the same time, they could clearly sense the other ghostly creatures hidden in the mist slowly and silently retreating. Small, delicate, and lovely gray flowers suddenly sprouted from the mist. However, upon closer inspection, they discovered that these seemingly beautiful flowers were actually composed of densely packed insects, giving them a feeling of both disgust and horror.

Faced with this situation, Nansong, Baidi and Matuan were all helpless. Baidi had no choice but to use his powerful mental power to try to cover up the scent and figures of the three people, hoping to escape this disaster.

As the enormous, dark-gray shadow drew closer, a stench of decay gradually permeated the air. Four gigantic, soft, boneless monsters appeared before their eyes. Their bodies twisted, as if boneless, creating an eerie sensation. Their skin was a sickening gray, covered in slime and pimples, a sight that instilled fear.

The heads of these monsters have different shapes, some look like distorted human faces, and some look like ferocious animal heads. Their eyes flash with strange light, which makes people shudder.

Lifted by these monsters, a small, tall sedan slowly moved. Black curtains hung around the sedan, preventing visibility from the interior. However, from the gaps in the curtains, low growls and whimpers could be heard from time to time, as if some terrifying creature was imprisoned within.

As the sedan drew closer, the stench of decay grew stronger. Most of the other creatures in the mist watched in horror, fleeing in all directions. However, some less powerful but curious ghosts and demons couldn't help but approach the sedan, eager to investigate.

As they approached the sedan, the curtain suddenly parted, and a dark figure darted out. It was a gigantic monster, its body like a white-incandescent worm, but with wings and a long tail. Its eyes flashed red, and from its mouth spewed a stream of black flames, instantly reducing everything around it to ash.

After the incandescent demon passed through, the gray ground began to reveal strange lines and delicate patterns. These patterns resembled ancient runes, emitting a mysterious and eerie aura. As the incandescent demon advanced, the ground gradually took shape, becoming uneven and bumpy, as if distorted by an invisible force. These changes made people feel uneasy, as if some unknown power was awakening.

Even more astonishing, the lines and patterns on the ground began to frantically absorb the surrounding mist, causing the originally hazy fog to become thinner and revealing more bizarre patterns. These patterns were as lifelike as living things, as if some unknown creature really existed within them. They were twisted, hideous, and strange, giving people a creepy feeling.

At this moment, the incandescent demon suddenly stopped and exhaled a heavy breath of mist. The color of this breath was indescribable, neither white nor black, but a chaotic hue. The mist spread in the air, forming a hazy mist.

Then, the incandescent demon's massive body began to tremble violently, as if something was struggling within. Then, with a thud, the insect's body tore apart, and from within emerged a strange, half-human, half-ghost creature with crimson hair. Its appearance was so sudden and terrifying, it resembled a demon from hell.
