Chapter 141: Ghost Nest (Part 3)

"Hmm... finally here! Haha, I knew you'd make it out successfully. But you're really weird, don't you think monsters only like to find monsters? Your other three companions seem unusual, too."

The man said this with a smile on his face, a smile as bright as a flower blooming in spring, and the corners of his mouth were exaggeratedly pulled into a huge arc.

At that moment, Blore seemed to see again the figure who had once run wildly, holding the chains on him tightly, so arrogant and domineering.

But in the face of the man's enthusiastic greeting, Blore said nothing, just stood there quietly, staring at the other person expressionlessly.

But what was surprising was that after the man saw Blore was silent, he not only did not show any unhappiness, but instead seemed more excited.

He was seen swaying slightly, as if trying to stand up and move closer to Blore.

But at this moment, a horrifying scene happened - there was a "swish" sound, a flash of cold light, and several extremely sharp bone blades suddenly pulled out from above the chair where the man was sitting, and stabbed straight at the man at lightning speed.

In the blink of an eye, the bone blade accurately pierced through the man's sternum and collarbone.

Blore stared at the scene in front of him with wide eyes, thinking to himself:

At this angle and force, the bone blade would have probably grazed the man's heart.

With only these bones as support, the man was hanging in the air.

What was even more bizarre was that when the bone blade pierced the man's body, bright red blood did not spurt out as people expected, but instead a liquid similar to oil gushed out from the wound.

The liquid was thick and sticky, and emitted a rich aroma.

Although there was a distance between Blore and the man, the strange fragrance instantly penetrated his nostrils, making him frown.

"Hehehe..." The man let out a low and dull laugh, which seemed particularly strange in the silent atmosphere.

There was no trace of pain on his face, as if the bone blade that pierced deeply into his body did not exist at all.

Blore stared at the scene in disbelief, his eyes wide.

He could never have imagined that this man was so crazy. Faced with such serious injuries, he not only had no intention of retreating, but instead took advantage of the direction, angle and strength of the bone blade to rush forward without hesitation.

Blore just stood there, stunned, as if time had stopped.

He watched helplessly as the man fell to the ground like a cannonball, sending up a cloud of dust.

A thick and delicate liquid flowed out from the man's body like a flood that broke through a dam, instantly dyeing the surrounding land red.

Blore swallowed and trudged over to the man.

He looked down and saw the man lying motionless on the ground. The clothes on his body, which were originally intact, were now tattered and could hardly cover anything.

Especially the muscles in the shoulders, which had long become bloody and rotten, extending all the way to below the chest, with almost no intact skin and flesh to be found.

In addition, the man's body was covered with densely packed small holes, which looked creepy, as if they had been gnawed by countless tiny insects.

And that greasy fragrance is constantly overflowing from the small holes, filling the air and making people feel nauseous.

ah?

This time, the development of the situation was completely beyond Blore's expectations, leaving him completely confused.

He had originally hoped that since he had finally made it here, the people he met would be able to provide him with some useful information and help.

However, the reality was completely different from what he had imagined. This person was so... well... so reckless! His actions were simply unbelievable to the extreme!

Now, in this ancient and mysterious black hall, a man is lying quietly on the cold ground, his life or death uncertain.

Fortunately, there was no one else here, otherwise, given the current situation, anyone would have mistaken it for a crime scene.

Blore thought silently as he stared at the man.

I saw the thick chains tightly wrapped around the wings made of giant bone blades, as if to imprison them there forever.

The surface of the bone blade occasionally flickered with a dim light, like jumping will-o'-the-wisp, making the entire wing look not only eerie and terrifying, but also adding a bit of the cold style unique to mechanical weapons.

At the same time, the dancing red figures on the dark blue window paper showed no signs of decreasing, but became more active.

Not only that, even on those tall, luxurious, and vaguely visible screens, lifelike human figures began to emerge one after another.

These people have different shapes and hold various items in their hands: some seem to be playing melodious music, the music is like crying and complaining, as if it can penetrate people's souls; some seem to be concentrating on plucking the strings, and the notes flow out like water, intoxicating them.

Their figures are graceful, like fairies descending to earth, bringing a unique charm to this gloomy hall.

However, Blore's eyes suddenly focused on those red wandering figures.
