Chapter 143: Ghost Nest (V)

Along with this hand, there appeared an astonishingly long arm, which was two or three meters long!

The arm was covered with a layer of plain gray scales. The scales were of different sizes, and some were even high and protruding, with sharp tips piercing straight into the skin covering the bones.

Not only that, the slender finger nails are extremely sharp, like daggers flashing with cold light.

The entire arm was faintly glowing with a strange red color, which looked very scary.

Suddenly, the arm fell from above without any warning and hit Blore directly in front of his eyes.

At that critical moment, when the arm was about to smash down, the water surface that was originally as calm as a mirror suddenly boiled up in an instant as if a blockbuster bomb was thrown into it!

The ground beneath his feet seemed to have turned into a ball of cotton, soft and without any support, and he fell straight down.

As my body continued to sink, the scene in front of me became more and more blurred.

In this haze, he could vaguely see some dark beams and strangely shaped buildings.

These things look eerie and terrifying, as if they are hiding countless unknown secrets.

He didn't know how long it had been, but when he opened his eyes again, he was surprised to find himself inside an object that looked like a box.

He cautiously stretched out his hand and felt around. At first he thought it was an ordinary box, but he soon realized that something was wrong - this was not a box at all, it was clearly a coffin!

He carefully felt everything around him and saw that the inner wall of the coffin was covered with shocking nail scratches.

Those marks were deeply embedded in the wooden boards, as if they were the marks left by someone who had struggled desperately to escape.

In addition, there were many stagnant blood scabs, which emitted a disgusting bloody smell.

The inside of the coffin was icy cold, and strands of cold air kept seeping in from all directions and wrapping around his body.

Then Blore was somewhat surprised to find that there seemed to be a thin layer of water under him.

Because he had been lying flat on his back without moving, about one-third of his body was now submerged in the water. The icy water seemed to be swallowing him whole.

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to calm his fear and panic.

After a moment, he gritted his teeth and struggled with all his strength. There was a crisp "crack" sound. It was unbelievable that the entire coffin shattered so easily!

As time went by, the numbness that had almost paralyzed him gradually subsided, and his body began to slowly regain consciousness.

Blore slowly opened his eyes, supported himself with trembling hands, and stood up with difficulty.

He looked around, and all he saw was a desolate and bleak scene. Everywhere he looked, there was only overgrown weeds, and not a single person or other living thing in sight.

Looking around, the ground is littered with coffins of all sizes, pitch black in color. They stand quietly on this wasteland, as if telling of endless sorrow and sadness.

The Xia Lingli grass and dead gourd trees surrounding the coffin added a bit of eerie and terrifying atmosphere.

They sway in the wind, making rustling sounds like the whispers of ghosts.

Under the gloomy and dark sky, everything seemed even more desolate. Bloreton felt as if he was in a huge tomb, and a feeling of loneliness and helplessness arose spontaneously.

However, this strange feeling was fleeting. Suddenly, a huge arm, about five or six meters long, slowly crawled out in a rustling and furtive manner.

It moved back and forth before Blore's eyes, as if testing something.

Blore stared at the strange arm with wide eyes. After observing it for a long time, he suddenly felt a strange feeling in his heart.

This thing doesn't seem to pose much danger to me.

Surprisingly, at this moment, Blore felt an inexplicable drowsiness coming over him, accompanied by a slight chill.

He couldn't help but shudder, rubbed his eyes, and tried to keep himself awake.

Then, he looked around, trying to find a place to rest. Finally, his eyes fell on an "empty coffin" of moderate size.

The lid of the coffin was not completely closed and tightly fastened, but was slightly open with a gap.

Through this gap, you can see lush Xialingli grass growing inside. Although the tops are slightly dry and have turned yellow-gray, they look lush and green overall, like a green ocean.

Blore glanced at the lily grass casually, without lingering for long, and then jumped without hesitation and lay down steadily on the coffin.

At this time, the sky was completely covered by thick dark clouds, and it was gloomy and dark. Not a single ray of light could penetrate the haze.

Those clouds that should have been light and flowing, as white as snow, now seemed to be weighed down by heavy lead blocks, appearing extremely dull and depressing.

Blore lay quietly on the coffin, feeling as if his eyelids weighed a thousand pounds, and every blink required a great deal of effort.

Gradually, his consciousness began to become blurred, and he seemed to fall into a hazy and chaotic state, drowsy.

Despite this, his eyes still wandered uncontrollably.

Sometimes, he would stare blankly at the distant horizon, trying to find a ray of light in the endless darkness; and sometimes, his gaze would unconsciously fall back on the arm that was still circling around the coffin.
