Chapter 189 Breaking through the Formation (Part 2)

Finally, amid the strange and astonishing sounds emitted by countless wheats, a group of dark figures slowly emerged from the sea.

Their figures were blurry at first, but as they drew nearer, Blore felt his still-drifting spirit finally see their features clearly.

At the same time, Blore felt that his soul was rising up and saw Song Wudeng, who also showed a dazed look and looked foolishly at the seashore not far away.

The first monster that crawled out of the sea quickly broke the tranquility.

It looks neither human nor beast, with two heads, four arms, and a hideous face, as if it were a demon crawling out of hell.

From the center of the eyebrows to the philtrum, there is a scar deep enough to see the bone. The edge of the wound is curled up, as if it had just been cut by a sharp blade and the blood has not yet coagulated.

It was wearing a pitch-black armor, and the scales on the armor were curled up, as if blood was flowing in it, as if it had just harvested countless lives.

Those eyes flashed with a cold and cruel light, as if looking for the next prey.

Immediately afterwards, a horrifying scene occurred. Monsters one after another slowly crawled out from the turbulent sea like ghosts.

The aura of these monsters is extremely strange, as if they have the power to turn the world upside down and overturn the sky.

Their appearance is more of a sense of oppression and Blore's subconscious uneasiness about unknown things, as if the whole world is shrouded by a dark force.

These monsters have different shapes. Some have no head but have eight eyes and six arms. Their bodies are twisted like a tangled mess, which is creepy.

Some have human heads and horse faces, but the bodies of sheep, with strong and powerful limbs, as if they can easily tear apart anything that stands in their way;

Others have human faces and sheep bodies, with sharp horns and eyes that reveal ferocity and cunningness, which makes people shudder.

Although these monsters have different appearances, they have one common feature - each one is covered in black armor with curled scales.

This black armor reflected a strange light under the sunlight, as if it was a messenger from hell, exuding the breath of death.

There was no pattern in the appearance of these monsters. They crawled out of the sea one after another, but as their numbers increased, they became unexpectedly orderly.

As if controlled by a mysterious and powerful force, they suddenly began to arrange themselves in an orderly manner into a creepy formation.

These monsters moved in unison, like a rigorously trained army, taking firm and steady steps, approaching the golden wheat bank step by step.

The momentum they exude is like a surging tide, unstoppable.

Every step seemed to crush the earth, causing the surrounding air to condense under this powerful pressure.

This scene brought an extremely strong visual impact. The originally warm and gentle sunshine, the clear and shallow sea water, and the precious wheat shining with golden light formed a sharp and strong contrast with these hideous monsters crawling out of the sea.

These monsters seemed like aliens from another world. They were so out of tune with this peaceful and tranquil scene, as if they had forcibly broken into this world, giving Blore an extreme sense of disconnection and illusion.

At this moment, the wheat field made of gold and "planted" in the shallow sea gently brushed against Blore's body.

The touch brought Blore back to his senses.

He hesitated for a moment, then without hesitation slashed at Song Wudeng with a palm, then quickly grabbed the other's collar and ran in the opposite direction of where the monster appeared like a gust of wind.

Nan Song stood there and watched for a while, then looked around vigilantly.

She had just struggled out of the soil, her body still covered with wet mud. She thought she could finally get rid of the suffocating feeling of oppression after staying there for so long, but at this moment, she keenly noticed that the soil under her feet seemed to be quietly changing.

The ground, which had been relatively solid just now, now became extremely soft, as if it was a huge, invisible mouth that was quietly opening, ready to swallow her again.

She subconsciously moved her feet, but felt as if the soil was under a spell and instantly sank deeper.

The trees next to it swayed gently in the breeze, and the shadows cast on the ground were like twisted black snakes, with eerie shadows, as if cold tentacles would extend from the shadows at any time.

Nan Song felt her heartbeat speed up unconsciously, and she felt herself sinking a little deeper.

An ominous premonition surged into my heart like a tide:

"Oh my god, I just crawled out of the ground, there's no way I can go back..."

She quickly stood up again, holding on tightly to the tree next to her, trying to steady herself, but the tree trunk was shaking slightly, as if it also felt some unknown fear.

Just then, the earth began to tremble.

At first, the tremor was not obvious, just a slight, almost imperceptible tremor, but as time went on, everything seemed to be fast-forwarded, and the frequency and amplitude of the tremor increased rapidly.

The sky, covered by the shadows of the trees, had turned light gray at some point, as if the sky was also shrouded by some force, becoming gloomy and weird.

Nan Song only felt her heart beating wildly. She could feel her breathing becoming rapid and disordered, as if she would be crushed by this strange atmosphere in the next second.

Suddenly, a hand appeared from the soft soil. The hand was slender and pale, but the nails were strangely sharp. Nan Song felt like a ghost claw stretched out from hell, grabbing his ankle.
