Chapter 196: Monarch's Office (Part 3)

Nan Song only felt that his consciousness was being torn apart by a powerful force. The pain was indescribable, as if his soul was being torn apart bit by bit.

She had no idea what kind of strange environment she was in. Everything around her had become so strange and terrifying.

The originally clear scene suddenly became distorted and blurred, as if the whole world had lost its original shape and outline, becoming abstract and creepy.

Nan Song opened her eyes wide, trying to see the situation around her, but all she saw was chaos and confusion.

The swarm of jellyfish, which was as big as a mountain, looked extremely terrifying at this moment.

Their tentacles, like claws from endless darkness, poured down from the sky, like a black rainstorm that would never stop, mercilessly reaching every corner.

These tentacles are looming in the mist, giving people a gloomy and weird feeling. Every time they wriggle is accompanied by a suffocating sense of oppression, as if the whole world is shrouded by their tentacles.

The fog grew thicker and thicker, and Nansong's vision was compressed to the extreme.

She could almost only see the flowing and wriggling tentacles. They were like living streams, moving slowly and exploring, as if looking for some unknown existence.

This scene made Nan Song feel extremely frightened and helpless. She didn't know what these tentacles wanted to do, nor did she know whether she could escape from this terrible place.

She felt as if she was in a huge experimental dish, and she herself was just an insignificant plankton that could be swallowed by these tentacles at any time.

The body became lighter and lighter, so light that it almost lost its weight, as if it would be blown away by the wind at any time.

She saw that everything in the world had turned into tentacles. They squeezed the space and swallowed everything, as if the whole world was under their control.

Nansong clearly saw those huge jellyfish-like creatures. They were like greedy demons, devouring those strange creatures that crawled out from the bottom of the sea.

The flesh and blood of those creatures were crushed and turned into an unknown energy, which was greedily sucked up by the tentacles.

However, those creatures still appear one after another, as if their existence is to serve as nourishment for these tentacles.

The whole world was dimmed at this moment, as if all life had been devoured by these tentacles.

She saw the high walls built by glaciers, which were like towering peaks, completely blocking the sky of this space.

Above the sky of this space, there are no sun, moon, or stars, but endless glaciers. They emit a cold and strange light, as if they are from another world.

Nansong couldn't help but wonder, what was hidden under the glacier?

Was it endless darkness, or something even more terrifying? She felt herself in deep confusion, unable to find the answer.

At the same time, the closer Blore got to the mountains, the more he felt the invisible squeezing force.

The force was like a heavy mountain, pressing down on him so hard that he could hardly breathe.

He looked at the mountains, which seemed to be constantly being squeezed and would be flattened into a flat land at any time.

He wondered silently, what kind of world is this?

Why is it so absurd and bizarre?

He looked at the place where he had just hidden. The tentacles were rushing over tentatively, but they missed.

Countless tentacles, tentacles, tentacles, tentative and twisted, fell from the sky. They appeared and disappeared in the white-gray mist, soft and ferocious.

They seem to have a will of their own, constantly searching for prey.

After Broll chanted the spell, gray-gold runes overflowed from the chains on his body. These runes were like a protective film, wrapping him in it.

When he didn't move, the tentacles could no longer sense his presence, as if his existence had been completely erased.

Yet Blore knew that if he moved even slightly, the tentacles would immediately sense his presence and devour him.

When the tentacles swung towards him, he didn't dare to move. He could only hide quietly aside and observe the movements of the tentacles.

He didn't know how long he could hold on, nor did he know whether he could escape from this strange world.

He just hoped that he could find a way to survive before these tentacles found him.

In this absurd and bizarre world, the golden wheat that was originally planted in the shallow sea water has undergone incredible changes.

They are no longer golden waves of wheat, but have all condensed into a huge heart, suspended between heaven and earth.

This heart seemed to be the master of the world. It expanded and contracted, and each beat was accompanied by a low and shocking roar, like the breath of an ancient god.

Those dancing and wriggling tentacles, like countless lively golden threads, are wrapped around this huge heart.

They are like blood vessels injecting into the heart, giving it endless power.

The rest of the tentacles were frantically devouring other creatures, converting their flesh, blood, and souls into energy, which was continuously transported to the heart, allowing it to stretch and move.

It seemed as if the whole world was left with only this golden heart, beating lonely and majestically between heaven and earth, emitting a suffocating light.

The lines of the heart are extremely clear, and the golden veins are like ancient runes, interweaving into complex and mysterious patterns.

There are even some indescribable totems and flowers spreading on it. They seem to be marks from ancient times, containing some kind of taboo power.
