Finally, Ma Tuan kept muttering, with an impatient look on his face, and he and Blore were busy cleaning themselves up.
Those granulations were so disgusting. They crawled out from the gaps in the sutures and kept squirming as if they had their own life.
"call--"
Ma Tuan let out a long breath.
"I'm not saying this to you, Broll, but what on earth were you thinking? Where did you get this new skin?"
His eyes widened slightly and he looked at Blore suspiciously.
Blore seemed very excited.
"I followed them for a while and then I met you two!"
He said happily,
"They seemed to be looking for something, but I didn't know what it was. They were also communicating in a very strange way that I couldn't understand at all, so I could only follow them and see what happened."
After hearing this, Ma Tuan felt that his brain was about to stop working.
"You said they were looking for something?"
he asked in disbelief.
Bai Di was also a little surprised. He looked around and saw fog everywhere and jellyfish tentacles extending everywhere, almost occupying the entire world.
In such an environment, are there things that the monsters can't find?
"Or are these monsters simply not of the same species?"
Bai Di said thoughtfully,
"They each operate independently, do not interfere with each other, and do their own thing?"
All three of them were lost in their own thoughts.
But soon, Blore remembered his encounter with Song Wudeng, and he decided to go all out. He also didn't like the silent atmosphere, so he just spilled the beans and told everything that had happened to him.
So Bai Di and Ma Tuan also talked about the key points.
But when he got to Ma Tuan, he became more and more excited. He was extremely excited to share with Blore the top ten embarrassing moments in Bai Di's life, but before he could reach the climax, he was physically muted by Bai Di.
Finally, in Blore's expectant eyes, he whispered to Blore that they would have a good exchange of feelings after they returned.
Bai Di was too lazy to pay attention to this pair of funny people. He continued to study the murals.
Hard work pays off.
wrong!
Bai Di felt that maybe the three of them were just lucky.
While Blore was doing something with Ma Tuan, he stepped on a depression, and at the same time he felt an abnormality and pressed it down.
What followed was a very muffled sound, and a cave appeared out of nowhere in this collapse.
"Huh?" Blore came closer and Ma Tuan followed.
So Bai Di followed.
The entrance to the cave was like a crack torn out of thin air from the darkness, with edges jagged like fangs, and the stone steps extending inward showed a morbid distortion - the width and height of each step were different, as if they were randomly piled up by some indescribable existence.
The surface of the stone steps was covered with a layer of slippery mucus, which glowed a dark green in the dim light, like the body fluids secreted by some creature, or like the stone wall itself was oozing rotten blood.
Blore half-crouched at the edge of the cave entrance, crushing a few pieces of unknown black fungus with the soles of his boots. A foul smell immediately rose from the cracks.
He felt dizzy, as if countless pairs of eyes were staring at him from the depths of the cave - it seemed that they were not human sights, but some kind of more ancient and chaotic existence.
Those gazes seemed to have substance, crawling stickily across his skin, drilling into his ear canals, and whispering inside his skull.
"What's wrong with you, Blore? If you really can't help it, get up first!"
Ma Tuan was a little worried about him. He felt that Blore was in a strange state.
"This place... looks familiar?"
Blore's voice suddenly sounded dry and as if it had been sandpapered.
Bai Di stood behind the two funny guys. He looked at the two people. They were only one step away from each other, but it felt as if there was a thick layer of fog between them. Their figures were distorted in the strange halo emitted by the cave.
A faint wriggling sound came from deep in the cave, like countless arthropods crawling on the stone wall, or like some huge creature slowly waking up.
The end of the stone steps is submerged in thick darkness. It may lead to a forgotten ancient tomb, or it may connect to a dimension that should not be known to humans.
Blore unconsciously took half a step forward, and the stone steps suddenly made a sticky groan and sank slightly as if they were alive.
He suddenly came back to his senses from his trance, a chill surged up his spine, instantly soaking through his back, making him shiver - just at that moment, he actually had an irresistible urge to jump into the endless darkness.
Bai Di felt a little anxious and uneasy. He couldn't hold it back any longer, so he walked forward quickly and pushed away the two people who were blocking his way.
"What should we do now?" His tone was calm, even a little indifferent.
The three of them looked at each other in silence for a moment, and no one knew how to deal with the current dilemma.
"Why don't I go and take a look, you guys..." Before Bai Di could finish his words, he was suddenly interrupted by Blore.
"Absolutely not! I'll go with you!" Blore said firmly, grabbing his clothes tightly.
Seeing this, Ma Tuan rolled his eyes impatiently, and without saying a word, he rolled up his sleeves and prepared to crawl into the hole.
Seeing this, Bai Di quickly reached out and grabbed him, saying:
"Don't worry! This cave is too small. We must think of a way. I think we can let Blore walk in the middle, and then we can hold the chain on him. That way, if anything happens, we can look after each other."
