Listening to the sound of the rain falling closer and closer, Blore was surprised to find that the flowers on Bai Di's hands and arms had all faded away, and his complexion gradually recovered and was no longer so scary.
"Sister Nan, Ma Tuan, Bai Di seems to be fine now! The flowers on his body are gone too."
Blore shouted excitedly.
Nansong was chatting with Matuan. They happened to be talking about how Blore's chains were not that heavy, at least the spider could still run, when they suddenly heard Blore shouting, and they were both startled.
After all, it feels a bit guilty to talk about others behind their backs.
"Okay, got it!"
Nan Song quickly responded after realizing what was going on. She felt relieved and pleased with Bai Di's condition.
At the same time, she and Ma Tuan looked at each other and smiled. Although they had been chatting, they were still very happy to hear the news.
Blore was particularly excited as he watched Bai Di gradually recover. He continued to observe Bai Di, hoping that he would fully recover.
Nansong secretly rejoiced that this adventure did not seem to bring too much danger.
However, at this moment, a strong wind suddenly blew from the forest outside the cave, rustling the surrounding trees.
The rain began to get heavier, and the raindrops hit the cave wall with a crisp sound. Nansong and Matuan realized that the weather might get worse, and they began to worry again.
"Why is the rain getting heavier? Will it cause more serious consequences?" Ma Tuan asked with a frown.
Nansong thought for a moment and replied, "Let's wait and see. If the rain gets too heavy, we can find a way to get to the village. The most important thing now is to make sure Bai Di is okay."
Perhaps due to the healing effect of the petals, Bai Di woke up quickly. When he opened his eyes, he saw Blore's big face in front of him.
It was a bit scary, but Bai Di didn't say anything, he just pushed Blore away.
Bai Di sat up, straightened his clothes, glanced at Blore, who was relieved to see that he had recovered and was packing his luggage. Feeling a little tired, he lay down again.
"What's wrong? Are you still feeling unwell?"
Blore noticed that he had lain down again and rushed over to ask him.
But Bai Di did not answer him, but just said to him,
"I just had a very long dream, and it must have been about Mu Yunchu."
Blore looked at him with some confusion, not understanding why he suddenly said that. But Bai Di did not explain too much, his mind was still immersed in that dream.
In the subsequent dreams, Bai Di saw many familiar scenes and characters.
Those people and things made him feel inexplicably familiar, but he couldn't remember exactly when they happened.
The clearest name among them is Mu Yunchu.
Bai Di frowned, trying to recall the details of his dream. He knew this dream must have some deeper meaning, perhaps a hint or revelation from the bloodline inheritance that Mu Yunchu had mentioned.
But now, he couldn't understand the true meaning of this dream.
But as Blore's attention was immediately drawn to it, he immediately raised his doubts aloud.
"Really? What is it?"
Blore was very curious.
Bai Di opened his eyes, glanced at him, and said slowly
"The dream was about Hermes. He and his wife had a sickly child. To save the child, his wife used forbidden magic and died. His wife's only wish in this world was for Hermes to save the child."
Bai Di began to tell the story of his dream.
His voice was not loud. The sound of the spiders moving quickly on the ground and the sound of raindrops hitting the ground mixed together. Only Blore, who was next to Bai Di, could hear it clearly.
"Hermes used many methods to save his child. It's undeniable that he is truly a genius."
At this point, Bai Di shook his head and sighed: "But in the end he still failed. No matter how hard he tried, he could not change the child's fate of death.
So he turned his attention elsewhere—to forbidden areas.”
"He kept trying different methods, even breaking rules and boundaries, to try to find the power to save his child's life.
However, every attempt ended in failure, and he fell into despair."
"Unfortunately, even geniuses have their own passions. The old patriarch, who treated him like his own son, was worried that he might go mad because of this, so he gave Hermes a book."
At this he glanced at Blore.
"Is it the book 'Life Taboo'? Did he save his child in the end?"
Blore replied quickly.
"This book has another name, the 'Book of Blasphemy', and even the patriarch has never opened it to read.
Unfortunately, he was already a little crazy at that time, and he accepted the book spirit's request without hesitation - it could fulfill his wish, but the price was huge.
He believed that any price would be worth paying as long as he could save his child."
"When he fully understood how to use the 'Book of Blasphemy', the book spirit told him how to use it to fulfill his wish.
However, when he opened the book, he found that what was recorded in the book was not the method to save the child, but some terrifying knowledge and secrets.
This knowledge shocked and confused him, but it also sparked a deep curiosity in him.”
"Hermes began to delve into the knowledge contained in the 'blasphemous book' and gradually learned more about the truth of the world and the universe.
