Chapter 3 Beelzebub in the Forbidden Forest

"When did two moons appear in the sky? And they're red. How strange!"

In a daze, Blore felt that he was lying on a very hard place, and something was poking him and hurting him. He wanted to ask someone to take it away, but he couldn't open his mouth.

"Wake up, idiot."

The sound came from far away, vague and difficult to hear clearly.

Blore felt dizzy and tried to stand up, but he felt that his limbs had no strength at all. He squinted his eyes with all his strength to see clearly.

"Finally woke up."

Blore heard the relief in Bai Di's voice.

Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice was heard, accompanied by hearty laughter and good-natured teasing.

"Bai Di, you kid, these friends are not simple at all. That kid with chains wrapped all over his body can't be dragged without some strength."

Seeing that someone finally woke up, Bai Di returned to his usual silence.

Faced with the teasing, he just replied with a cold "hmm" and then sat down next to Blore.

After a while, Broll's eyes finally cleared up and his mind finally worked again.

"Bai Di, how are Sister Song and Ma Tuan?"

The strange voice came again.

"Don't worry, your companions will wake up within a day."

Broll felt relieved immediately, putting the strange aroma and inhuman sight behind him.

Then Blore turned his head with difficulty and saw a tall middle-aged man with brown-black hair, triangular eyes, and an aquiline nose, who seemed to have a pair of huge black wings on his back.

Looking up, there was a huge mechanical puppet head above his head with its back to the crowd.

In addition to this, there are several long, emerald green medicine bottles emitting golden light hanging around his waist, which are very eye-catching.

He stood beside Bai Di, looking at himself curiously.

In contrast to him, the already thin Bai Di looked even shorter and more beautiful. He folded his arms, his eyes half-closed, as if thinking about something.

"You three trespassed into our tribe's forbidden land and were cursed. This brat found you at the entrance to our village. Okay, I'm going to get busy now. I'll let this brat explain everything else to you."

After saying that, the strange man waved his hand and left.

Seeing that the person had left, Broll could no longer suppress his curiosity.

"Bai Di, who was the uncle with bird wings at that time?"

"Nangel, the wings belong to the mechanical doll behind him. This is also our mission site."

After Bai Di finished speaking, he frowned again.

"Ah, we're here. By the way, Bai Di, did you catch up with that black shadow?"

Another weak voice sounded, and Nan Song asked weakly.

"I've been thinking about this too. When I was closest to the shadow, I only saw what looked like an inhuman monster. The shadow even had tentacles and horns.

But it was that thing that kept running away after being attacked, and it seemed to have led me to this village."

"I don't feel good. Let's finish the mission and leave quickly. I don't want to risk my life here."

Ma Tuan also woke up, and spoke slowly in a half-dead voice.

Blore was already up, his mental image of Little Bu already having been full of life shortly after Nangle had gone out.

"Did you see anything in that forbidden area over there?"

Bai Di suddenly asked again.

Ma Tuan and Nan Song looked at each other and told each other what happened after Bai Di left. At the end, Nan Song asked Bai Di,

"What about you? Did you follow the shadow and end up here?"

Bai Di nodded.

"I have told them the mission, and they have also produced practical evidence to prove that our client is them, but I have not met our guide yet."

"This is really strange."

Ma Tuan also asked in confusion.

"Wow, come and see."

As Blore shouted in surprise, Ma Tuan and Nan Song looked at each other, slowly got out of bed and walked towards the door.

Above the entire village, a large, fine golden net is suspended, and it seems that the sunlight has to be filtered before it can enter this world.

The houses in the entire village seem to be made of golden gems. Each house is slightly shorter, and the stones of the houses are covered with scorch marks, which makes people feel uncomfortable when looking at them.

At the end of the village, there were several pitch-black sewage towers standing, but they were not covered by the golden net. Thick smoke continued to pour out, dyeing the sky gray. Some of it slowly sank and fell into the forbidden forest that Nanger had just mentioned not far away.

The four people lay on the railing made of golden gems beside the house, looking at this magical land, which has blessed the alchemy family with vigorous development and prosperity for hundreds of years.

"Alas, this is a village where crystal mining and refining are concentrated, so some damage is inevitable. But after all these years, there are still forests here, which shows that there is still some environmental protection in place."

Seeing this, Nansong spoke slowly.

"Indeed, nature conservation is very important. Otherwise, the alchemy family would not have been able to develop in the same place for more than a hundred years."

Ma Tuan echoed.

“It seems like someone is coming.”

As soon as Blore finished speaking quietly to everyone, a voice suddenly rang out.

"If it were before, our environment would have been even better. If it weren't for the forbidden land of Beelzebub, which transformed the holy dew that had been showering us for thousands of years into an evil, all-destroying demon, the sacred blessings that the forest once breathed in and out also became evil itself, causing us endless harm.
