Bai Di, on the other hand, looked thoughtful, as if he was thinking about something.
"What? Shouldn't you think that I am knowledgeable and have such broad horizons?" Ma Tuan yelled in dissatisfaction.
"I'm sorry, even though you know such niche knowledge, in my heart you are still the same as Blore." Nan Song said lightly.
After saying that, Nansong no longer paid attention to the glutinous rice balls and went about his own business.
"How can this be!" Ma Tuan was immediately dissatisfied, and shouted that he wanted to pick up the "person in his arms" and go to Nan Song to argue.
"Wait a minute!" Nan Song suddenly stopped him.
"Aren't you curious at all about where the chains hanging around your neck and hands came from?" Nan Song asked in a mysterious tone, pointing towards the roof.
When Ma Tuan heard this, he immediately became interested and looked up.
However, all he saw was darkness, nothing there.
"What...what does this mean?" Ma Tuan asked in confusion.
"It's a secret." Nan Song smiled slightly and said nothing more.
But Ma Tuan soon realized that he had definitely been fooled.
He immediately sat on the small mat, no longer afraid of the skeleton. He just hugged it, looking up at the sky and down at the ground, but never turned his head towards Bai Di and Nan Song.
After a moment of silence, Nansong felt something was wrong.
It’s normal that Bai Di doesn’t make any sound, but what’s wrong with Ma Tuan?
"Are you angry?"
So Nansong looked at Ma Tuan with a smile.
"No, I'm just interacting with my new brother."
Ma Tuan was wearing a mask, but Nan Song could tell easily that he had transformed into an Onmyoji.
"Really? But whose good brothers can communicate with each other without saying anything?"
"Humph, what do you know? This is called the collision of souls, the exchange of emotions!"
With a chuckle, Bai Di burst out laughing.
“Laugh, laugh, laugh!”
Ma Tuan was so angry that he didn't care about his newly recognized brother. He wanted to flash and rush to Bai Di and beat him up severely.
"Okay, stop messing around."
Nan Song smiled and said, "Shouldn't we think about how to leave this place now?"
Hearing this, Ma Tuan stopped moving. The wind made the door creak, and more sunlight poured in without reservation, like a golden waterfall.
The room was instantly filled with sunlight.
After a moment of silence, he said, "Yeah, what kind of place is this? Why are there so many strange things?"
"Um……"
Nan Song was thinking and looking around, when he suddenly found that the wall behind the platform was covered with strange symbols.
"Look over there."
Nansong pointed at the wall and said.
Everyone looked in the direction his finger was pointing, and saw densely packed symbols on the wall, as if following some pattern.
"These symbols seem to be a kind of writing. Perhaps they can tell us some clues."
Nan Song said this and walked to the wall to observe carefully.
Bai Di and Ma Tuan looked at each other, and since Bai Di was still tied to the ground, Ma Tuan followed him.
Speaking of which, it seems that Bai Di was the one who suffered the most damage during this mission.
He got sick inexplicably in the insect nest, and now he is tied to the highest platform inexplicably.
Although he was forcibly attached to a "person" by heaven and his hands and neck were controlled by chains, he could move!
The two of them gathered around the wall, studying the symbols carefully.
"This looks like some ancient writing, but I don't recognize it."
Nansong frowned and said.
“I haven’t seen this kind of writing either.”
Ma Tuan echoed.
Nansong sighed and said, "It seems we need to find someone who understands this kind of writing, or find relevant information."
"But where can we find such people or information here?"
Ma Tuan asked doubtfully.
"Perhaps we can search in this space. There might be some hidden clues."
Ma Tuan talks to himself
"Does this mean there must be an antidote within three steps?"
Nan Song nodded in agreement, "Let's start looking around."
So, the two of them ignored Bai Di and began to search around in this space.
They searched every corner with kerosene lamps but found no useful information.
Although there was sunlight in the room, Ma Tuan insisted on carrying a lamp. Nan Song expressed his incomprehension and was greatly shocked. Finally, he thought that it was not him who was tired anyway. Ma Tuan was carrying a rack and still wanted to carry a lamp. If he wanted to be tired, let him be tired.
After searching for a while, I suddenly remembered the noise.
Crunch-Creak-Creak...
It makes people feel bored when they hear it.
But soon, Bai Di felt that the platform was getting hot again, and the kerosene lamp suddenly turned from golden green to ice blue.
It burned more than half a meter high, the glutinous rice ball slipped out of my hand instantly, and the kerosene lamp fell heavily to the ground.
The flames whooshed out again, completely covering the skeleton on his back.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaa! What should I do?!"
The sound resounded through the sky, and Ma Tuan suddenly felt that his life had lost its light again.
"Don't make a fuss! It doesn't seem to be causing any harm."
Bai Di and Nan Song were startled at first, then they saw the flames slowly go out, and saw delicate blue patterns appear on the skeleton man's exposed hands.
"What's this?"
Ma Tuan took a look and didn't feel any difference.
But when he saw the skeleton's hand, he jumped in fright.
