Chapter 36 Blindness and Reunion

Blore walked along the passage for a long time, but he could still see nothing and could only grope forward by touch.

"What the hell is this place? Why is it like this?" Blore muttered to himself, his heart filled with confusion and fear.

He didn't know where he was, nor how to leave this dark world. Helplessly, he could only keep moving forward, hoping to find some clues or a way out.

The surrounding stone walls felt damp, as if they had been soaked in water. Blore felt a chill and a slight shiver running down his spine.

"Where are Ma Tuan and the others? I've been walking for so long, why haven't I seen them yet?" Blore thought anxiously, his pace getting faster and faster.

The footsteps echoed loudly in the empty space, and Blore realized that this seemed to be an extremely vast space, and he was just an insignificant existence in it.

At this moment, Blore suddenly felt a strange gaze. He stopped and looked around cautiously, but still couldn't see anything clearly. The feeling of being watched made him shudder, and a sense of unease surged in his heart.

However, he could see nothing, only the black cloud, floating quietly behind him, as if silently observing him.

The eyes hidden in the clouds were looking at Blore with a smile.

Blore felt the gaze of the mysterious creature, and with growing alarm he tried to quicken his pace, to escape the suffocating pressure.

As Blore moved, the black cloud seemed to be summoned by some invisible force, gently passing over his shoulder and drifting forward.

Blore suddenly felt a breeze blowing from above his head.

"There's wind here?" Blore thought in surprise. This was the first time he felt the breath of the outside world since entering this space.

He walked slowly towards the direction of the wind, his heart filled with anticipation. Perhaps that was the exit, or at least a glimmer of hope.

The air in this enclosed space seemed to have become heavy, without a single breath of wind. However, when he looked up, he found a gentle breeze caressing his cheek.

He couldn't help but wonder: "How can there be wind in this enclosed space?"

Just as he was thinking, a huge black shadow appeared not far ahead.

He wanted to see more clearly, but all he could see was darkness.

It was a huge stone sculpture carved from the strange stone here. It towered into the sky, as if it was the guardian of this space.

The entire space is vast and quiet, making one feel oppressive and suffocated. However, a stone sculpture stands abruptly in the middle, giving people a sense of mystery.

After the black cloud passed by, it quickly covered the stone statue, and the statue suddenly appeared with a layer of dark light. This layer of light was like a flame in the darkness, flickering with an eerie light.

At the same time, Blore heard the sound of stones moving. At first, it was just a slight friction sound, but as time went on, the sound became clearer and louder.

Ding-dong, ding-dong, the crisp sound of wind chimes rang out. Blore's heart suddenly tightened, and he opened his eyes wide and looked around, looking for the source of the sound.

The sound of the wind chimes grew louder and louder, as if coming from all directions. Blore felt a chill run down his spine. He didn't know what the wind chimes meant, but a sense of foreboding welled up in his heart.

There was a loud clang, like a sudden thunder, and Blore was startled and his body trembled unconsciously.

Then, a dazzling purple flash of lightning suddenly lit up, instantly illuminating the surrounding darkness. Blore tightly grasped the chain in his hand and looked ahead vigilantly.

"Ah, this door is really hard to open. I've been trying for a long time! Are you okay, Bai Di?"

A crisp and clean voice came, like dewdrops in the morning light, making people feel fresh and pleasant.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Now that the door is open, let's go inside."

Another voice sounded, and although the tone was firm, it revealed a hint of weakness.

"Why is it so dark in here? It's really rare!"

Soon, someone else expressed his or her opinion.

"Wow, what a huge stone statue, it seems even bigger than the previous one!" Then, footsteps were heard, and it was obvious that someone was walking towards the stone statue.

Blore was a little confused. He heard the voices of Nansong, Baidi and Matuan, as well as their conversation.

However, he could not see anything. Everything in front of his eyes was still pitch black, except for the purple lightning that had just flashed by.

He blinked hard, trying to adjust himself to the darkness, but he couldn't see anything.

He opened his mouth, wanting to ask what was going on, but found his throat was so dry that he could only make a hoarse sound. He felt like he was isolated in another world, cut off from the outside world.

He stood there, at a loss.

Three people stood in front of the stone sculpture, and no one knew what it was.

"Hey, didn't that man in black tell us to go west and find the exit? So now we..."

Ma Tuan looked at it for a while, and then suddenly remembered

"He told us to leave quickly once the chains were unlocked."

"What time did you just remember?"

Nan Song glanced at him

"Didn't I just use the vines to carry you down? I don't think you were even thinking."

"I, I just remembered it all of a sudden!"
