Chapter 41 The Past and the Unspeakable

"If a person's mental power undergoes irreversible changes, it's very likely that they can create a secondary world. Even if they haven't reached that level, it's not completely impossible given various coincidences. If so, how should we deal with it?"

With his feet stepping on the snow-white and gradually transparent leaves, Bai Di was like a light, dancing butterfly, thinking silently alone.

Something seemed off about Sigur, its presence diminished. But what about Nangel? And why had Blore suddenly gone blind?

Thinking further, from the moment he set foot in this forest, until he and Ma Tuan were sacrificed, to the underground stone statues, the black tide, and the blank world, everything was interconnected, pressing in step by step. What on earth was causing this?

What was the original intention of this mission?

Bai Di gazed at the falling snow leaves. The intricate patterns on them were like nature's favorite carvings, densely packed. Starting from the beginning, he could never find the end.

The mission was almost halfway done, he consoled himself, but he was still a little worried. He saw Blore sit up again and look around.

In the golden ocean, Blore stood up and began to walk towards them step by step. His movements were a little stiff, but firm and persistent.

Blore was amazed to see a thin golden film covering his eyes.

He found that he could actually see a little bit. Although it was not very clear, it was much better than not seeing at all.

Moreover, his eyesight has always been superb, which makes him full of hope for the future.

He saw small gold nuggets falling from the sky, and then quickly turned into a pool of liquid. The liquid seemed to have some kind of magic that attracted his attention.

Then he saw black and white clouds and vague human figures in the distance. These scenes made him feel both strange and familiar, as if he were in a fantasy world.

Blore suddenly felt that the stone Mu Yunchu gave him became extremely hot, as if it was about to turn into something.

He reached into his pocket to check if the stone was still there, but when he did, the stone was gone.

He searched nervously and finally found the stone on the ground. It had rolled out of his pocket and onto the ground, swaying with the golden liquid.

Then, Blore saw the petals of the lotus flower float out, noticeably larger and more brilliant than before. The petals shimmered with golden light, like a work of art. He speculated that the flower might have been immersed in a golden tide, which gave it such beauty.

Could this scene really exist in reality? Blore couldn't help but fall into deep thought. He felt as if he were in a dream world, and everything seemed so unreal.

But at the same time, he also knew that all this was real, but it was beyond his understanding.

The man gave him a sense of déjà vu, as if he had seen him somewhere before, but at the moment he could not remember the specific details.

Boom-boom-boom, a loud noise came from nowhere, and then a large area of white snow quickly spread out, burying Bai Di who was squatting on it, as well as Ma Tuan and Nan Song who had pressed a human-shaped pit in the thick snow by lying down.

As for Sige and Nanger, they were probably buried deep in it.

"No way, I can only see clearly now!"

Before Blore could utter a single cry, the golden wave came crashing down upon him like a mountain crushing an egg.

Space shook violently once more, the force of the sound like the apocalypse. Black and white merged once more, and within the dark grey space, all the black and white sesame-like clouds collided, tore apart, and then merged again, like a herd of mad beasts.

Everything was silent, not a sound was heard.

The clouds turned completely gray, each cloud closely connected, but their grayness varied, perhaps because each cloud contained a different object.

The world is unpredictable and people's hearts are difficult to discern.

For some reason, Nangel, who had been in a trance since a while ago, finally regained some consciousness, but when he looked up, he found that an overwhelming number of unidentified objects were burying him. These objects were like falling snowflakes, but they were larger than a human palm; they were leaves, but they were snow-white.

However, he had no time to think about anything else. After being buried by these unidentified objects, Nangel felt a strange feeling: his heart was completely calm. He didn't understand why he was so calm. Even when he felt suffocated, he just slowly closed his eyes.

At this moment, a chuckle reached my ears: "Hehe, what on earth happened...?"

"I'm not saying anything harsh on you, but even with us both in this situation, you still can't seem to understand. How can anyone be so black and white? How can anyone be so clearly defined? But, maybe sometimes people can't even understand themselves..."

Nanger suddenly opened his eyes and saw a figure exactly like himself standing in front of him. The figure spoke in the same voice as him, with a bit of nonchalance and ridicule in the tone.

"Did you do this?" Nangel asked with a gloomy face.

The figure stood alone in the distance, looking so lonely and indifferent. He lay on the ground in a mess, as if he had been abandoned by the world and felt helpless.

Snow-like leaves slowly floated down from the sky, like angel feathers, gently landing on the dark ground, as if bringing a ray of light to this dark world.
