Chapter 42 Black Rain, Ladder and Tentacles

Bai Di was moving at an extremely fast speed, carrying Blore across the clouds like a meteor, while the stone stairs below quickly collapsed and disappeared into the endless gray.

Blore was startled by Bai Di's sudden action, but he reacted quickly, grabbed Bai Di's hand tightly, and let Bai Di carry him forward.

As Bai Di accelerated, the clouds in front of them became thinner and thinner, and the dark part above them became clearer and clearer.

Bai Di secretly groaned in his heart. He didn't expect that this seemingly harmless gray cloud would be so strange. Moreover, there was no way to retreat now. If he didn't find a way out as soon as possible, the consequences would be unimaginable.

In this tense moment, Bai Di sped along, observing his surroundings intently, searching for a possible exit. However, all around him was an endless expanse of gray, with no other obvious clues. Bai Di was anxious, yet remained calm.

My heart is beating like a drum.

Blore looked around and suddenly felt the stone on his body burn. He looked down and saw that the stone had turned red. Startled, he wanted to throw the stone away. But then he remembered that it was a gift from Mu Yunchu, so he just stuffed it back into his backpack.

The clouds in the sky rolled and surged, making a low roaring sound, wooo, wooo!

Suddenly, two huge dark green tentacles stretched out from the endless darkness.

Bai Di Broll immediately stood still, holding his breath. The two looked at each other, with strange expressions in their eyes. They couldn't determine what kind of creature these tentacles belonged to, but they could feel the dangerous aura and malice they exuded.

Time passed by, and silence fell all around. The two tentacles, seemingly containing a strong poison, remained quietly not far from the two of them, seemingly observing something from the shadows.

Bai Di couldn't help but glance at it again, a chill running down his spine. This thing actually had pairs of giant crimson wings, densely packed together in a pattern reminiscent of a giant centipede.

"What kind of monster is this?" Bai Di lowered his voice and asked Blore in confusion.

Blore shook his head. "You don't know, so how should I know? But it looks powerful. Let's be careful."

At that moment, the two tentacles moved, as if preparing to attack. Bai Di and Broll immediately prepared for battle. However, just as they were about to attack, the two tentacles suddenly retracted and disappeared without a trace.

Bai Di and Blore looked at each other, their hearts filled with confusion and uneasiness. This place was becoming more and more mysterious, making them feel unprecedented pressure.
