Chapter 53 White Mist Spreads

The four of them chose the stairs and headed straight to the second floor. As soon as they entered the door, they were greeted by a fragrant aroma.

Walking into this greenhouse, you feel like you've stepped into a mysterious plant kingdom. A variety of flowers are neatly arranged in a regular pattern, lovingly cared for and housed in transparent glass compartments, like precious works of art.

The dark green color of the walls gives a calm and peaceful feeling. This color contrasts sharply with the bright colors of the flowers, further highlighting their beauty and vitality.

The yellow light sprinkled on the scattered plants created a warm and soft atmosphere. Every leaf was illuminated clearly, as if emitting the light of life.

In this greenhouse, time seems to stand still.

Nansong was a little excited and patted Blore quickly.

"Have you noticed? There are some flowers here. You also planted them when you were in our village."

Blore nodded, but then shook his head. "Grandma planted it. I'm just helping her take care of it."

Nan Song sighed and led the three people around to walk around.

The place was very large, and it took them a long time to meet a few people. The four of them also took a look at the rare and exotic animals transported from other places, and then came to the backyard.

The backyard was open to the sky and there were many animals in it, but as soon as the four of them came out, the thick white fog made it impossible for them to see each other. All they could see was the white fog drifting by.

"What's going on?" Nan Song tried to poke the fog with her hands, but unfortunately there was no result. As the fog went away, another one came. She felt speechless, as there was nothing she could do.

The rain was still falling, passing straight through the white mist and landing on the umbrellas held by the four people.

Suddenly, Bai Di saw a flash of golden light, but it disappeared in a flash. He blinked and felt that it was the direction of Blore, but Blore didn't say anything, so he moved slowly and prepared to ask.

Looking at the white fog, he could only barely distinguish the direction of the crowd. Blore opened his eyes wide, but suddenly felt his eyes blurred and a voice rang in his mind.

"My friend, do you still remember me? Don't be too panic. The favor I ask you to do is not very difficult. I just want to lend you one of your eyes." His voice was deep and rich, giving people a sense of calmness and peace.

Blore was startled and stopped in his tracks.

"Don't worry. I'm only borrowing your eyes and the spiritual vision I inherited. It's harmless and won't disturb your normal life. I won't come out unless you call me. The forest is vast, but I can only stay in one place. This time I woke up, I wanted to see the changes in the world. Besides, my distraction ability is not strong, so there's not much I can do to help you."

It was spoken slowly and the meaning was very simple. Blore understood it easily. It was just giving him another roommate, but the roommate would follow him every day. It was nothing. Apart from part-time work, he was with his friends most of the time.

Blore dared not speak, so he said in his heart

"Sure, that's fine. But why did you suddenly show up at this time? It's a bit strange."

"I sense a very strong spiritual fluctuation, which is not something you can reach at your level. It's not safe here. You should leave immediately. Besides, the current environment is not suitable."

It speaks slowly, as if thinking before speaking.

"Let's leave quickly. By the way, my name is Cangwu, and it's very dangerous here." After Cangwu finished speaking, his mind became silent again.

Blore finally realized that it was pitch dark around him. He wanted to find his other three companions, but there was no sound around him. He had originally wanted to rely on sound to determine the direction.

Blore stood there motionless, and the white mist seemed to have enveloped the world.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise in the sky, deafening, as if the whole world was shaken by this noise.

Immediately afterwards, the passengers still outside saw in horror huge mushroom clouds falling straight down from the sky, as if the end of the world had come.

These mushroom clouds were massive and heavy, crashing to the ground with unstoppable force. Their target was the green building. Amid the exclamations of tourists outside, the mushroom clouds crashed down on the building, emitting a dull thud.

Surprisingly, these mushroom clouds did not cause any substantial damage to the building. Instead, they seemed to be guided by some mysterious force and formed a circle around the building. As the mushroom clouds continued to fall, the circle became more and more complete, eventually forming a strange barrier.

The barrier radiated a mysterious light, enveloping the green building. Against the backdrop of the light, the building appeared even more mysterious and solemn.

From the sky, a steady trickle of rain fell, like countless silver threads interwoven together. However, instead of dripping onto the ground as usual, these drops transformed into streams of water, pouring violently into the building.

The water jets hit the walls of the building, making a loud noise, as if a fierce battle was going on. The water flowed down the walls, forming a curtain of water that enveloped the building.

Blore had clearly felt that there was water in this place. Without hesitation, he ran towards the place where they had just come out. While running, he suddenly heard obvious footsteps. He slowed down his pace. It should be Ma Tuan. Bai Di rarely made any noise when walking, and Sister Nan walked very quietly.

The other party obviously heard his voice and slowed down, but time waits for no one, and the water has reached his ankles.
